That’s it, blue blood fanatics. We’re officially halfway through the final batch of episodes, and spoilers for Blue Bloods Season 14 Episode 14 don’t tell us much.
What we do know is both exciting and sad: Jack Regan is back.
He’ll likely return in the finale as well, but this time, he’s here to support his father as Danny is in big trouble.
‘Blue Bloods’ Season 14 Episode 14 Spoilers Suggest Danny’s Actions Could Lead to the Death of a Cop
It’s been rumored for some time that the finale of Blue Bloods will include a major death, but footage from a family dinner shows Danny in uniform and his sons wearing ties.
Often, this formal attire indicates an upcoming police funeral.
Blue Bloods Season 14 Episode 14 spoilers reveal that Danny is called to the carpet after a raid, so anything that happens during the raid will likely have to do with the family in formal attire.
Of course, this story could also lead to the final storyline in the second half of the season.
Blue Bloods Season 14 Episode 13 already planted the seeds for Frank’s final story, which could be the beginning of Danny’s final story, by introducing the conflict between Chase and the new fire commissioner.
Frank’s response to the accusation is interesting
Blue Bloods Season 14 Episode 14 spoilers have Frank telling someone that Danny is a decorated detective.
Throughout the series, his integrity often gets in trouble when his sons get into trouble with the police department.
Frank treats them no differently than any other cop, or at least he tries not to.
It’s impossible to be completely impartial when Danny has been accused of impunity for years. I think he must recuse himself and leave his deputy commissioner (i.e. Garrett) in charge of 1PP’s official response.
Still, Frank’s definition of fairness included making sure his sons weren’t treated unfairly simply because their last name was Regan.
This was not an act of favoritism on Frank’s part. Assuming Regan is guilty until proven innocent is just as prejudicial as giving them the same double benefit of the doubt as everyone else.
Blue Bloods Season 14 Episode 14 spoilers have Danny in trouble again, but the timing of the accusations against him is weird
Oddly enough, the woman Frank was talking to claimed that Danny had a reputation as a loose cannon, as he had apparently cleaned up his act in recent years.
He’s been here before. In Blue Bloods Season 4 Episode 22, he was suspended for trying to investigate a woman’s suicide, and was accused of using inappropriate force in an episode of the first season.
However, starting in Season 10, we see Danny become more mature in a big way.
He’s unlikely to reach for a gun first, and at least once, long-time fans were surprised when he told another police officer not to shoot in a seemingly justified situation.
No wonder Danny reacted as this accusation against him seemed so personal!
The suspect Danny manhandled in the trailer looked familiar, so I wondered if this was a complaint due to something that happened in the previous episode.
I’m trying to remember the details, but I’m pretty sure this guy was a CI and Danny was annoyed that he wasn’t provided with information.
Could someone be reporting this out of revenge or to get Danny into trouble?
If that’s the case, the charges against him still don’t make much sense.
While the NYPD shouldn’t ignore an officer’s behavior of slamming a suspect into a wall, especially if the suspect claims he was abused, the idea that Danny has “got away with it for years” seems silly when he hasn’t for years Did it.
I keep coming back to this raid as well. Clearly something has changed here, but there are many possibilities for what happened.
Blue Bloods Season 14 Episode 14 spoilers reveal that Danny and some state troopers break into a house with guns drawn.
It looks like a recurring scenario in countless police procedurals on television: Cops enter dangerous locations with guns drawn, search for suspects, and announce that certain rooms have been cleared.
Danny might have instinctively fired if the suspect was charging at him, but considering how many years he’s been doing this, that’s unlikely.
It could also be a false report that ends up in tragedy, in which case the police should also investigate who reported it to them and why.
The Regan family will rally around Danny, but how will this affect him?
While it’s unclear what will happen or why, one thing you can count on is that the Regan family is rallying around Danny.
They knew he was a good man, regardless of the charges against him, and that the family had each other’s backs.
The fact that Danny’s son is back to support him says it all and the family will not back down until they make sure Danny is treated fairly and his case is resolved.
The bigger question, however, is how this will affect Danny.
It didn’t help that he was already exhausted after dealing with a severely disabled suspect who didn’t understand what was going on.
Danny’s distress over this will undoubtedly lead to his eventual storyline, especially since he won’t have Linda to rely on.
However, this could lead to him and Baez becoming even closer as the series comes to a close.
What do you think, Blue Bloods fanatics?
Will Danny suffer as a result of this new accusation? How will this affect his final storyline when the series ends?
