Bon Jovi and the Pitbull Moment
Pitbull is participating in the After Dark Party Tour, which kicks off August 21st in Virginia. The Cuban-American global artist surprised fans with a special appearance from the iconic Bon Jovi during his stop at the Jones Beach Theater in Long Island, New York, on Thursday (September 12). Norey’s big career change
With raw lyricism driven by his infectious melodies and captivating vocals, Noreh has made the leap from independent artist to first label signing with 5020 Records (presented by Sony Music).

This week, advertising billboard Telemundo has announced the finalists for the 2024 Billboard Latin Music Awards, with Karol G leading the way with 17 nominations in categories including Artist of the Year, Tour of the Year and Latin Album of the Year. Tomorrow will be beautiful (Bhikkhu Tower Season). The Colombian artist is followed by top nominees Bad Bunny and Peso Pluma with 15 nominations, and Feid with 11 nominations.
The 31st Annual Billboard Latin Music Awards will air on Telemundo from Miami on October 20 at 9pm ET. It will be broadcast simultaneously on Spanish entertainment cable network Universo, Peacock and the Telemundo app, as well as on Telemundo Internacional in Latin America and the Caribbean. Latinos at the 2024 VMA Awards
In other awards news, the 2024 MTV Video Music Awards saw a strong wave of Latin representation this week. Not only did artists like Thalia, Danna and Camila Cabello strut their stuff on the star-studded carpet, but a few others also took center stage during live TV broadcasts . Rauw Alejandro performs a stunning medley of “Touching the Sky,” “Diluvio” and “Dejame Entrar,” and Karol G makes Taylor Swift dance the merengue with a performance of “Si Antes Te Hubiera Conocido” , Anitta brings a Brazilian funk carnival and she invites Tiago PZK to perform in “Alegria”. The latter of the three won the Best Latin Silver Moon Award for the single “Mil Veces.”
