Brantley Gilbert was pulled off the stage on a tour bus for the birth of his child in Tupelo, Mississippi, on Friday night. Gilbert’s wife, Amber, went into labor during the Oct. 11 concert and gave birth to the couple’s third child on the bus.
“So last night was probably the craziest night of my life,” the country singer revealed in an Instagram post the next day, Saturday, October 12. “Watching such an amazing woman do such amazing things is something I will never forget.”
Gilbert’s update included a video that captured the story of the wild birth, starting with the singer rushing off the stage after the concert began. He is currently on the Off the Rails tour.
The proud parents shared their first photos with their baby in a video, as well as a phone call between Gilbert and his mom: “How are you?” she asked, to which he replied: “Not as well as you think. You have a new grandson.
“She was a horrible savage,” he said of Amber.
Gilbert just released his new album tattoo He returned indoors to finish the show last month, but cheers erupted from the crowd when he announced, “We’re having a baby!”
The “Over When We’re Sober” singer added her gratitude in an Instagram post: “Thank you to our road family for rallying around us and to Brittany Thornton for helping us bring this to life Little one brought into this world, thanks to Tupelo, Mississippi for showing us our crazy love and support and most of all…Amber Gilbert, for letting me love you and showing me that a woman can How strong. I love you.
Brantley and Amber announced they were expecting a baby on Mother’s Day. The new addition to the family joins two older siblings: Barrett and Braylon.
