British singer-songwriter Miles Smith will become the latest artist to host an exclusive virtual event for Epic Games’ hit video game Fortress Heroes.
News of the virtual concert was announced at Sony Music’s Immersive Technology Day on Tuesday (October 22), where the company highlighted its efforts in immersive entertainment and gaming through its Sony Immersive Music Studio (Sony IMS) division activities.
The Miles Smith Virtual Concert was developed in partnership with Sony Music and RCA Records UK, and produced by Sony’s IMS division.
In the past few years, Sony Music’s related music activities in the immersive space include Travis Scott in “Fortnite” and Lil Nas X in “Roblox”.

The first project from Sony’s Immersive Music Studio division in early 2021 is a virtual performance by Epic Records-signed singer-songwriter Madison Beer, showcasing songs from her debut album, life support.
