Jin’s “I’ll Be There” topped this week’s new music poll, which features artists from a variety of music genres.
In a poll released on Friday (October 25), music fans voted advertising billboardpicked the BTS star’s rocking solo single as their favorite new music release of the past week.
“I’ll Be There” received nearly 95% of the vote, ahead of new albums from Lady Gaga (“Sickness”) and Halsey.great imitator), Addison Rae (“Aquamarine”), Linkin Park (“Over Each Other”), etc.
Jin’s energetic bilingual songs and rockin’ swing will appear on the K-pop superstar’s debut solo album, happyscheduled for release on November 15th.
In an exclusive video interview shared with Dolby Atmos advertising billboardThe 31-year-old Korean singer revealed that he wrote the new song to “provide happiness” to his fans. “When ARMYs feel tired and lonely, I hope this song can give them strength,” Kim says in the video. “I know exactly what emotions I want to share with our fans,” he added. “I want our fans, our military, to be happy.”
Jin collaborated with American singer-songwriter MAX to produce “I’ll Be There”. In the music video, he channels rock star energy with air guitar windmill moves and strikes Elvis-style poses while confetti rains down around him. The clip ends with King happily dancing solo in an abandoned parking lot, kicking up his heels as the sun sets behind a bridge.
King’s Sixth Track happy The album will include the title track “Running Wild”, as well as “I’ll Be There”, “Another Level”, “Falling”, “Heart on the Window” (feat. WENDY) and “I will come to you”. King collaborated with many other artists on the album, including Take That’s Gary Barlow, and he was co-producer and co-writer of “Running Wild.”
Lady Gaga’s “Disease” trailed far behind Jin in this week’s polls, garnering nearly 3 percent of the vote. “Disease” is the lead single from the pop singer and actress’ upcoming studio album.
