BTS’s V and the late Bing Crosby’s duet version of “White Christmas” topped this week’s new music poll, which spotlighted the work of artists across a variety of genres.
In a poll released on Friday (December 6), music fans voted advertising billboardnamed the new take on the holiday classic their favorite new music release of the past week.
“White Christmas” received nearly 51% of the vote, surpassing ROSÉ’s new album (Rossi),twice(Strategy), Bad Bunny (“EL CLÚB”), Khalid and Nomani (“Personal”) and many more.
On the holiday collaboration, V and Crosby exchanged lines, harmonizing iconic lyrics: “I dream of a white Christmas/Every Christmas card I write/May your days be merry and bright/May you be all Christmas is all white.
“I’m so excited to have the opportunity to collaborate on a song with one of my all-time favorite jazz artists, Bing Crosby,” V previously said of the song in a statement. “I grew up listening to his song ‘It’s Been a Long, Long Time’ countless times every day, and I feel so lucky and honored to be able to sing ‘White Christmas’ with the voice that I consider my idol.”
“As a huge fan of his, I sing with the utmost sincerity and admiration for him,” continued the superstar, who previously covered “It’s Starting to Look Like Christmas.” “I hope many people enjoy this song as much as I enjoy singing it. Finally, I wish everyone who listens to this song a happy holiday season.

The Christmas classic, written by Irving Berlin in just 18 minutes, remains the best-selling song of all time, with sales of more than 50 million copies worldwide, according to Guinness World Records. “White Christmas” also won the 1942 Academy Award for Best Original Song in a Musical Holiday Inn And was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 1974.
Following V and Crosby in this week’s poll is BLACKPINK’s ROSÉ, her debut solo album Rossireceived nearly 48% of the vote. The set’s 12 tracks include the hit single “APT.” These include Bruno Mars, which topped the Billboard Global 200 chart for six consecutive weeks, and “Number One Girl.”
