It has a four-day version; although it is the ultimate celebration of Spanish rock, it has added English bands and is the first Latin American festival to have its own version in Spain.
The Vive Latino Music Festival was held on November 28-29, 1998 at Foro Sol on the east side of Mexico City. Since then, it has been held every year except in 1999, 2002 and 2021, the latter being held due to the coronavirus pandemic.
