Candace Cameron Bure and Cameron Matheson are set to star in a Christmas movie later this year, but it wasn’t the movie they originally expected to make.
Cable network Great American Family announced Wednesday that Cameron Bure and Mathison will debut as co-stars Sweet Christmas Homean original holiday movie set to air on the channel in 2024.
Welcome from Syrup Studios and Candy Rock Entertainment, Sweet Christmas Home The series centers on Sophie Marlowe (Cameron Burr), a mergers and acquisitions lawyer who returns to Washington state after her late uncle leaves her 60% of his Maplewood estate hometown. She reconnects with her long-lost childhood friend Sam (Matheson), who left the remaining 40% of her fortune.
The film is directed by Paula Eyre from a script written by Kevin Cummins and Robin Dunne. Mick McKay serves as producer, and executive producers include Cameron Burr, Ford Englers, Jeffrey Brooks, Holly A. Hines, Eric Jarboe, Gerald Webber, Trevor McWhinney, Paula Eyre and Martin Wood.
