New things have a lot to like Captain America: A Brave New World. Anthony McKeeAs a new hat, a great performance of several fun cameos and “This is how it’s done, guys” performances Harrison Ford. But, even with all of this, the movie is… very good. In the end it feels like a stepping stone, something bigger in the future.
Set up a few years after the Disney+ series Falcon and winter soldiersWilson is now working for the government and wearing Captain America’s cape like a champion. When the movie opens, General Sadus Ross (Ford, takes over the late role William Hurt) Just been elected president and needs Wilson to retrieve top confidential cans from Celestial Island – 20121’s “Hello Callback” eternal…It’s time they mention this huge plot.
Wilson recruits new Falcon (Joaquin Torres) (Danny Ramirez) We met him in the Disney+ series to help and bring it back to the United States.
After trying out Rose’s life, it finds it’s a big setup for another long-term character, Samuel Sterns (Tim Blake Nelson), the last time we saw it was in 2008 Incredible Hulk. It turns out that Ross has left him in jail since then, due to the Gamma Ray accident at the end of that movie, he was very angry and super smart.
The new cap was forced to compete with time in a possible war with Japan while trying to stop Stern’s plans to kill Rose over the years.
As you would expect, McGee’s greatness, he carried Captain America’s cape perfectly on his shoulders. Ramirez is another bright part of the Disney+ show, and it’s just as good here.
Ford has almost as much screen time as McGee, and once you watch a movie, you know why. If you grow up reading comics, Ross always has a mustache, like he did when he was injured. When Ford took over the role, I wondered why he wasn’t big fluffy either. In the early days, we made total sense about why we wanted to quickly explain why, and I wouldn’t spoil it. Also, if you think about it, why give Harrison Ford the ship from the Marvel movie and put him in a stumbling way?
I can’t tell you how many people finally saw him become a Red and Green giant. He is sinister, dangerous and deadly. Heck, it’s great to see more and more Hulks again in Marvel movies. The smart Hulk Mark Ruffalo What you’re playing now is just different.
Rob Edwards, Malcolm Spellman, Dalan Musson, Peter Glanz and Julius Onah ) Also written, the film is a bit winding at times, no matter how good the actors are. The special effects are very good, but I expected more. In an episode Falcon and winter soldiersthere is a photo of Wilson flying in the air in an extended order, which looks great. We don’t have anything here. Most are fast cutting, descent and diving. It’s still good, but one sequence on the TV show is absolutely great and I hope they bring more here. Having a few cameos was a fun surprise. But Anthony Mackie deserved better in Captain America’s debut.
