Cardi B explains that this track has been in the works for years, but there has never been the right moment to release it—until now. Cardi B was intentional in selecting Lil Durk and Kanye West for the features, sharing that each of them brought a different layer and style to the project. This was also her first time exploring CGI in her music video, which she jokes was a long and laborious process that hopes to never revisit. Cardi hopes this single will have something for everyone, and take its place in the cannon of club anthems.
