Now, Maya puts herself in a position where she is once again fighting for her life. However, it looks like the next movie will take things in a different direction and be different from the first.
This film is all directed by Renny Harlin (A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: Dreamer, Deep Blue Sea). He has previously stated that the entire project is conceived as an epic horror journey.
He explained: “Of course, we shot them layered on top of each other and blended them together, just like how movies are always shot. But we have to remember that this is a storyline.
“It’s a 4.5-hour movie, and the first movie is the first act. It sets up the characters, the horror, the killer, and our protagonist, who will survive the first movie, but will not survive the next two. The journey continues in the film.
Lionsgate plans to distribute Stranger: Chapter 2 later this year and Stranger: Chapter 3 Probably early next year.
