Charli XCX is having a monumental 2024, and she’s taking to social media to reflect on the best moments of the year.
“There were so many high points in 2024 that I, CBA, can’t post them all, but here are some of my favorite memories and favorite people. Love you all so much and thank you for everything. Sorry, I’m so sad sometimes xx,” she captioned a set of Instagram photos she posted on New Year’s Eve (December 31), in which she shared memories of the launch of her pop culture-dominating album boyselfies with her celebrity friends, live performances and more.

Charlie XCX drops boy in June and peaked at No. 3 on the Billboard 200 albums chart. It also topped the Hot Dance/Electronic Albums chart for 29 consecutive weeks. “I don’t need any metaphors at all,” Charlie told advertising billboard project for her July cover story. “I want this record to feel like I’m having a real conversation with the listener. I could say this to you in the back of a cab on the way to the club. Like tonight? I want to dance with AG.”
She added: “With boyit’s really fun to do something for the fan base and make it feel unique – but once you join the club it’s actually very inclusive. In fact, everyone can join this club. It’s just that everyone joins in at a slightly different time and in a slightly different way — whether it’s a private Instagram post from me, or a boiler room of 400 people, or a random screening of a new music video in Los Angeles, or a text message from me.”
In the fall, Charli wrapped up the Sweat Tour with Troye Sivan. According to data reported by Billboard Boxscore, the show earned $28 million from 22 shows and sold 297,000 tickets.
