Accomplished sailor Charlie St. Cloud is beloved by his mother, Claire, and brother, Sam, and is offered a college scholarship that will take him away from his sleepy Pacific Northwest hometown. But his bright future is cut short when tragedy strikes and takes away his dreams. When high school classmate Tess returns home unexpectedly, Charlie is torn between fulfilling a promise he made four years ago and moving on with his newfound love. When Charlie finds the courage to let go of the past for good, he discovers that the soul most worth saving is his own.

Movie review:
- Andre Gonzalez: Very good movie. Kind of like a sixth sense. But in this case, he could see them mentally as they were dying. Use it to help people.
