One Chicago fan is shocked by recent events on NBC’s trio of hit movies.
Chicago PD gave fans a full hour of adrenaline-fueled anxiety, while Chicago Med raised ethical questions among its docs.
Chicago Fire focuses on character development, and we learn a lot more about Damon and Pascal’s characters. Before the episode airs, let’s take a look at Chicago Fire Season 13 Episode 3 spoilers to see what happens next.
It’s hard to guess what will happen next for many of 51’s top players, but one thing is clear: things are about to get intense.
Producers remind us in a promo for next week’s episode that no one is safe on this show, and it looks like we might be about to see another tragic Chicago fire death.
Is Ritter facing his final flame?
The trailer jumps straight into our Chicago Fire Season 13 Episode 3 spoilers, showing Ritter being violently thrown out of the building as it explodes, before we see Pascal angrily fire someone.
Ritter appears to have ignored Pascal’s orders to evacuate the building, so if he survives the explosion, the new Chief may follow his example and kick him out.
But so far, there haven’t been any hints about Ritter leaving the show. In fact, his character is finally starting to get more attention.
I don’t think there’s much point in firing him. Even if he did ignore Pascal’s orders, he was not the first to do so.
If this happens, our fire departments could face systemic problems.
In Chicago Fire Season 13 Episode 2, Damon deliberately ignores Stella’s direct orders before trying to convince Seyfried to cover for him.
Although Kelly clearly didn’t know what to do, he eventually gave in and told Stella everything, who was furious.
So now we may have two consecutive instances of insubordination in our home, which is bad news for everyone.
It would make more sense for Pascal to fire Damon. The next episode could reveal Damon’s relationship with Seyfried, and the news could push Pascal over the edge.
Chicago Fire Season 13 Episode 3 Spoilers: What’s Pascal’s Problem?
We now know that the chief had severe anger issues and uncontrollable violent tendencies.
My biggest concern is whether he abused Monica.
KaDee Strickland has experience playing seemingly indestructible but deeply victimized characters, so it made sense for the show to cast her in such a role.
But despite her “Private Practice” storyline, I really hope the writers of “Chicago Fire” don’t set up a domestic abuse storyline.
I want to believe that Pascal is a good guy and has some problems that he needs to solve, but the more he beats people up, the harder it gets.
If he abused Monica, there was no way I could forgive him. Will this show finally make me bored with the character of Dermot Mulroney?
There’s also been a lot of speculation about how much influence Damon might have over Stellaride’s relationship.
Will Damon come between Stella and Seyfried?
After everything they’ve been through, 51’s favorite couple must have enough strength to win over their annoying little brother, right?
Damon seems determined to get between Kelly and Stella, though, and we don’t know enough about him to know how worried we should be.
Either way, I need Damon to stay away from Lizzie.
As the newest members of the family, the two of them are naturally attracted to each other, which is fine at first.
Is Lizzie in danger of heartbreak?
But the more I get to know Damon, the less I trust him. Although I recently decided to ship Violet and Lizzie, that has nothing to do with it.
Lizzie came to the fire station last season with some mystery, and we didn’t know what she was going through.
But if years of therapy have taught me anything, it’s that her avoidance and fear of commitment are red flags of some underlying trauma.
She’s started showing more vulnerability lately and it’s not easy for her to open up. If Damon hurt Novak in any way, I would be pissed.
What I hope to see in Chicago Fire Season 13 Episode 3
Honestly, the biggest thing I want to see next week is proof that Ritter survived the explosion.
The trailer shows him getting hit hard and Violet crouching on top of him looking extremely worried, so I’m going to be worried sick about that until we get proof of life. Ritter is one of my favorite Chicago Fire characters, but I’m not very good with it.
As more of Pascal’s story unfolds, perhaps we’ll discover what exactly happened in Miami that led him to flee Florida.
Of course, there are jealousy issues, as shown by his reaction to the news that another man called his wife. Is it much poisonous?
But I think it means much more than that. During their first meeting, Vale expressed sympathy for what happened to Pascal in Miami.
There’s a history there, and Monica is sort of at the center of that history.
Hopefully this means we get to see her throughout the season!
That’s it for our spoilers for Chicago Fire Season 13 Episode 3! So, tell me: What do you think will happen next for 51? Leave a comment next week with your theories!
Should we prepare for a heartbreaking farewell to Ritter?
Will one of our favorite people be fired and sent packing?
We’ll find out those answers and more when the Chicago Fire return with more heat Wednesday at 9/8c.
