This year, Stapleton will perform in Australia and New Zealand in February and March before returning to the United States starting in June.
The new dates see him adding shows in nine U.S. cities, adding shows in Charlottesville, VA (with a new show on June 6), Grand Rapids, MI (June 13), Tinley Park, IL (June 28), New York, NY (July 26), Noblesville, IN (August 2), Phoenix, AZ (August 9), Salt Lake City, UT (August 16), Denver, Colorado (Aug. 23), and Hollywood, Florida (October 11).
Special guests on various dates on the tour include Ellen Stone, Britney Spencer, Grace Potter, Maggie Ross, Marcus King, Marty Stewart and his fabulous Superlatives, Mike Campbell and the Dirty Knobs, Nikki Lane and War and Treaties.
Tickets for the new show will go on pre-sale on Tuesday, January 21st at 10am local time. General sales will begin on Friday, January 24th at 10am local time. Fans can obtain tickets in advance by registering with the Stapleton Fan Club.
In addition to his headlining tour, Stapleton is also nominated for two honorable mentions at the upcoming 67th Annual Grammy Awards: Best Country Album ( higher) and Best Country Solo Performance (“It Takes a Woman”). In November, Stapleton added three more CMA awards to his already stacked collection, including extending his own record as the most-awarded CMA male artist of the year with eight trophies.
