It’s a fun cameo that fans want to see more of. So it’s cool that Cavill actually agreed to do this!
director Sean Levy Speaking about former Superman actor Henry Cavill, it was said that the actor got sick from smoking Wolverine cigars on set all day long.
“He lit the cigar and kept it in his mouth the entire day of the shoot,” the filmmaker said. “I remember hearing the next day that Henry had an upset stomach from inhaling cigar smoke for eight hours straight, but he never wavered.
Levy also spoke about Cavill’s Wolverine cameo in a separate interview with Variety, saying: “If we’re going to talk about him, we have to call him by his real name, Cavill, which is Ryan. Created.
“When Ryan proposed the word, I knew it was undeniable. He immediately said ‘yes’ because he knew it would be disruptive and interesting.
“It’s also very emotional about him and his work, and now he’s taking the form of a variant of a Marvel hero and playing up to his legacy as a DC hero.”
