Stig Björkman is an 82-year-old Swedish director who has been locked up alone in his tiny apartment in Stockholm for a year due to Covid-19. To keep busy and connected he decides to contact through zoom (and film) his conversations with friends and colleagues, and to watch some of the greatest films in history which help visualize what we all are going through.
“Corona Film Club” is a celebration of resilience, the human spirit, and film. And offers a new context to watch these wonderful films again and hopefully find comfort in them.
