Well, I actually wanted to talk about something related to the podcast, you know, for this podcast, since I go into the daily podcast when you hit play, right now on this podcast, the theme song is probably in the last couple of the first couple of Day in, you may have noticed that, a, the commercial starts playing first before the music comes on, or B, first of all, I don’t know, the music is cut off for 10, 15 seconds.
The song starts a little later. It’s all settled. I think starting today, we should get back to normal. Second, you click play and the music starts. This has always been a big thing for me. Yes. This is just something I personally choose to do because I listen to a lot of podcasts and when you hit play, the first thing you hear are the ads.
I just never liked that. Others may have made some extra money on the podcast front-end by doing this. I choose not to do this. I just love that when you press play, the music starts. Yes, I might lose a little money. Launching your podcast without pre-roll ads isn’t a big deal, but it’s just something I never want to do.
I want to start with music. I’m probably one of the few who does. Most people put ads in before they play, and when you hit play you start hearing the ads, but in the past few days you might have actually heard the ads first, or the music started a little bit, which is where the song After 10 seconds, what I usually hear is rave up, and shut up when rave ups.
I. It should be, we should be good to move forward, there was a meeting yesterday with my quote unquote team. I’m sure it just wanted to throw it out there. Because I didn’t even know it happened until last Thursday. So I had to go in and fix some things, but they had everything cleaned up.
Anyway, tonight is the finale of Dancing with the Stars. Apparently we’re down to the last five pairs. That’s Chandler, Joey, Danny. Steven and Ilona. I’ve heard people’s predictions. Former podcast guest Kristen Burt will be a future podcast guest. Hell, we might have her on the Dancing with the Stars wrap-up next week.
OMG, we might invite her this week. Now that I think about it, if she can tape on Wednesday, maybe we’ll get her wrapping up her thoughts on the Dancing With the Stars season this week. Either her or Courtney Robertson, one of the two. Anyway, I want to talk about the ending of Dancing with the Stars because I heard Kristen sing.
She’s on, she’s on Cheryl Burke’s podcast, it seems like every other week, and a lot of times she’s on there, Cheryl asks her before the finale, in descending order, what are your last five? She said, number five, and I believe she said, Danny.
Number four, I think she said, was Stephen. Third place. He said Chandler was second, Alona, and she thought Joey would win. Remember I told you last week that I don’t really follow people’s Instagram followers when it comes to this show. I don’t pay much attention to the Dancing with the Stars videos posted on the Instagram page.
Who’s commenting, how many comments, how many likes, how many other things they can comment on, I guess, but. From what I’m reading, I might be reading it wrong, but it seems like Joey has the most followers or gets the most reactions when his content is posted. So I guess he does have a good chance of winning tonight, the first time a bachelor has won.
I think we already have four Bachelorette winners, right? We have Hannah Brown. We have Caitlin. We have Melissa Rycroft and Hannah, Caitlin, Melissa Rycroft. Someone else wins, right? Oh, Gabby. Wait, did Gabby win or lose the final? Damn, I can’t remember. Regardless, The Bachelorette always does a great job on this show.
So, man, this really bothers me. Now I have to Google Now I have to Google this. Did Gabby win DWTS? No. runner up. Yes, I know she lost. Well, I thought she lost. But I don’t remember who she lost to. Oh, did she lose to Charlie? Well, damn, of course she lost to Charlie.
Charlie is the best dancer for me personally. I think she’s the best dancer in the show’s history, but that’s not saying much because she’s actually a professional dancer anyway. Good for her. So I guess we already have three Bachelorette winners, unless I draw a blank on the others.
Regardless, Joey has a good chance of winning tonight. That’s basically what we’re talking about. I don’t think he finished any worse than third place. I think he’s coming into the last two games. Another thing we can expect to see tonight. God. Will we see Gleb reunite with Brooks and Brooks to stir up a storm and make people believe they might be back together again?
Because they have to dance one last dance. Remember earlier in the season, I was actually talking about Anna Delvey, who was eliminated for the first time along with Tori Spelling. I was like, look, she doesn’t like this process. She didn’t want to be there. She has no enthusiasm for the audience. I hope they don’t bring her back for the finale.
Well, she is because if you watch anything on social media, you’ll see that she’s apparently back in the studio rehearsing. She returned with Ezra. They are having technical talks together. But I think tonight is going to be a big deal. Brooks and Gleb are going to make a big deal out of it and strengthen their relationship and gosh I’m sure Jen and Sasha are going to give us a leg up because Jen and Sasha are basically doing the same thing as Brooks and Gleb, actually , Brooks and Gleb actually admitted they were a couple.
Again, I know nothing about Jen and Sasha’s relationship, but would anyone be surprised if we found out they were dating? The answer is no. Because it does look like they are together. It seems like they’re more than just platonic friends who are very close on this show.
They obviously did get close during the show. You spend a lot of time with your partner, but is it really far-fetched if Jen and Sasha were dating? No, we’ve seen a lot of couples come off the show and post things on social media that aren’t just “thank you for teaching me how to dance.”
This is very, very exaggerated. So they all are. Dating or are they squeezing people out of talking about their possible dates until I don’t know when, when are they going to stop? You know, she was eliminated four weeks ago and they were together almost every day. So why don’t they date? It seems reasonable.
So I don’t quite get it, but it looks like they are, but just watching the finale tonight. Very cool. Now that this thing is finally coming to an end, Joey has a good chance of winning. The only person I would be surprised to see if they actually win is probably Danny. I don’t think he can win just by having high approval ratings.
It’s not that people don’t like him, it’s just that I don’t think he can. I could see Chandler winning, even though her support obviously isn’t there and she’s not well-known enough. Alona has incredible support, and Steven is probably the cutest guy in this year’s cast. I just don’t know if I can see Steven winning.
