The Daily Roundup you’re listening to is part of the Reality Steve Podcast. I’m your host, Reality Steve. Thank you all for tuning in this Monday, Labor Day Monday. We’re going to have a shorter program for you today because I know it’s Labor Day and you can go have a barbecue or something.
So we’re going to keep it pretty short, shorter than most. Daily roundup. We’re going to talk a little bit about Jen’s finale airing tomorrow night because it won’t be airing on a holiday night. Something about these people told us what we discovered this weekend, but never made it to air. We also talk about Brittany Cartwright opening up about her divorce from Jax for the first time on her podcast.
She becomes emotional. We’re going to talk about Big Brother, what happened last night, and we’re going to talk about spoilers for what we’re going to see on Wednesday. One last thing, maybe we’re getting a few more details about Artyom’s arrest via Dancing with the Stars . There’s a lot more that’s been released that we’re going to share, and we’re going to talk about it all right now.
From what we know, The Bachelorette will air their finale tomorrow night, a three-hour finale that will also air live. They’re going to show us two hours from Marcus and Devin in Hawaii leading up to the last two games, and then they’re going to intersperse them with live footage of what’s going on in the studio, possibly with alumni in there, and then we’ll see Marcus is on the couch, Jen is with Marcus on the couch, Devin is on the couch, Jen is with Devin on the couch, and so on.
No different than in years past. It’ll be three hours and we’ll get it. Might get Joan on the couch too. I thought since we already had Grant’s interview, maybe we’d get Joan talking about her season in an interview for the first time.
I do want to say this, I’m very aware of what has been said in the past, I don’t know, three weeks, four weeks there was a consensus online. I don’t know if I want to call it consensus because there are probably a lot of people who don’t know this. However, there are many people who believe that Jen and Devin broke up after filming.
This may be true. This can’t be true either. I’m just here to tell you, I don’t know. I know exactly what people have been paying attention to. I saw all her likes on Instagram. I heard rumors that Devin’s friends told TikTok gossip mongers that they had broken up. It’s probably true.
What I’m trying to say is that I haven’t heard of anyone providing me with any information. That doesn’t mean it’s not true. I’m just saying I haven’t heard of it. So, if we found out tomorrow night that Jen and Devon had broken up, I’d be like, well, I guess the rumors are true. If we find out that they haven’t broken up and are still together, I’d be like, well, the rumors aren’t true.
Like if I had something to report, I would tell you, trust me, I hear what people are saying. No one came to me with anything. And, you know, I, you know, listen, I, I’m very aware that one of the TikTok accounts out there said they got an email from a friend in Devon.
And it has been sent to me many times. Every time someone says, “Hey, someone is reporting this,” I ask the same question. I said, the problem is I don’t know how that person chooses to censor their information. Did they ask, who are you? How do you know? What evidence can you give me? You know, all of these things or someone just sends that person an email and they do it because they want to be right about something, and like I said, they probably are, I’m just saying I haven’t got anything.
Anyway, I haven’t received any messages telling me that, yes, they are still together, at least not for the past few weeks. I haven’t received any word that they are no longer together. Unless I find something today, your guess will be as good as mine, which I doubt. So I’ll keep you posted if I hear anything, but if not, we’re pretty blind to where they are right now, but I don’t think anything’s going to change with what’s going on in Hawaii.
I mean, it was April, excuse me, May 16th was the final rose ceremony. Yes. I’ve heard what’s been reported. I’m just saying, I wasn’t told anything. No one has come to me and said, yes, they have broken up, or yes, they are still together over the past few weeks. Because about three weeks ago, I heard they were still together, but that was the last thing I heard.
What about these rumors since people told me? How about all the likes on Jen’s Instagram page? This does look like a single woman. I just thought, I, I checked, I tried to find the details, but I, I really found nothing. So just wanted to leave it at that and let’s see what happens tomorrow night.
Over the weekend, we found out something from Jen’s ex-boyfriend Matt Rossi, who showed up in New Zealand to try and lure her back, Matt Rossi ) on TikTok decided to tell everyone, hey. I was told by people who were there that they shot the entire sequence with me but none of it was shown. He put it on his TikTok and it looked like he was in a hotel room or something.
His caption on TikTok said, When they asked me to get someone, they told everyone to re-do everything, only to cut the entire clip out again. It’s not like they haven’t done this before. For Bachelor in Paradise, they fly contestants to Mexico, put them in a hotel for two weeks, and never let them compete on the show.
Matt, welcome to the series. Unfortunately it happens. So, what happens to you, you get flown to Los Angeles for free to shoot a segment and it doesn’t get used. OK I think those of you who flew to Mexico and stayed in a hotel room for two weeks and never made it to the show were probably more frustrated than you.
But these are all scams. This is the benefit you get from doing business with this franchise. Not on the show. sorry. Your clip was cut. Let’s continue to the valley. Brittany Cartwright spoke on her podcast, I guess it was Friday, or maybe the weekend. She spoke about her breakup with Jax and filing for divorce.
I just want to play what she said for you. So you heard me, I’m not just explaining it. This is what Brittany said on her podcast.
We’ll start with the elephant in the room. OK So it’s a big week. I’m sure everyone listening has seen the news online that I filed for divorce from Jax.
Unfortunately, I can’t talk about the details because everything has been heavily documented on the show since we’re filming now, and once the show airs you’ll see how everything plays out, but I will say this. This season has been the most difficult season I’ve ever filmed. I never thought I would experience something so personal and painful while the world watched.
I don’t say this to make anyone feel bad because I know this is the life I chose and I am blessed in many ways. But I always want to be honest with you. Many people online said they thought it was a publicity stunt for the show or a gimmick to gain ratings, and nothing could be further from the truth.
My decision to submit my application was not made lightly or quickly. It took me many, many years to get to this point and gain enough courage. And the strength to do what’s best for me. Free yourself from toxic relationships and finally see your worth. It’s been difficult but I’m stronger than ever and my motivation is that my son, my Cruise, deserves a happy and healthy mom.
Going forward, Jackson and I will be producing separate podcasts. Thank you all very much for your support. I love you all so much and I hope you enjoy this episode with some of the best memories from our past and stay with us as we get together soon.

Well, that’s Britney’s statement, obviously, she was very emotional during this period and she said she had nothing to really discuss because you’re going to see all the details of the episode. One thing I want to point out about that statement is that it’s not directed at Brittany because I guess it might be hard for her to say, but she’s obviously reading the entire statement.
I mean, almost, you can almost see her eyes moving. Turn the page and read this. But like I said, no shots were fired at her. I just wanted to point out to you that she may not have noticed this, but she read the entire script 100%. While I wish she hadn’t written it, that doesn’t change its validity.
But, she had read it. I think. As we see the second season of Silicon Valley air, it makes me think, I mean, you know, this, she wrote this, or she gave this Meg, this speech, on her Friday On the podcast, August 30th of last year, I don’t think the valley started until March. I really hope Season 2 of The Valley comes out much earlier than March 2025.
Because this is so hilarious, we had to wait seven months to get this. As far as I know, filming for The Valley Season 2 started about a little over a month ago. I’m sure it only started filming on July 17th or July 18th, I thought July 17th or July 18th was the date I heard about. I’m sure it will only be filming for six to eight weeks.
I can’t imagine we’ll have to wait until March to see this. It seems long, and that’s not to say we won’t care about Brittany and Jake’s divorce, but a lot will happen by then. Hell, Jack might have moved on to someone else. Brittany may have moved on to someone else. Does it look like we can turn this around by, I don’t know, late November, early December?
Can we do this? I’m really, or at least number one this year. Let’s start with January. I just don’t want to see stuff that was shot in the summer. It will begin broadcasting in March 2025. It’s not about TV ratings.
As I said last week, as I was watching this season of The Valley, he treated her like dirt. She should get out of this relationship. She probably should have gotten out of the relationship sooner. He is not a good person. Even though I haven’t watched the first few seasons of Vanderpump, every headline I’ve seen about this guy has been anything but positive.
It was during this season, during a season of reality TV, that I saw Jax Taylor on television for the first time, and he was insufferable. I can only imagine what it would be like to be married to that guy. She went through it, and when she couldn’t hold on any longer, she got out. So good to her.
