The Daily Roundup you’re listening to is part of the Reality Steve Podcast. I’m your host, Reality Steve. Thank you all for tuning in Friday, come on Friday. Friday edition. We’re going to talk about yesterday’s interview with Rachel Juarez. I want to go back to this because maybe a few hours after that interview, the Maricopa County County Attorney came.
Arizona tweeted about Laura Owens’ case. We will also discuss Pascal. I finally got around to watching Wednesday’s episode of The Bachelorette . Pascal conducted an interview during a psychological recording session, and Pascal obtained some of the recordings. He has some opinions about the franchise and he has some opinions about the chalk.
Spoiler alert, they’re not very positive. We’re also going to talk about Taylor Swift’s story, which I mentioned yesterday about a passenger on a Southwest Airlines flight chatting with her father, Scott Swift, and then running off to talk about it. I have some ideas. We’ll get to all this later. I want to start with yesterday’s podcast, the weekly podcast, number four 15.
I posted this yesterday at 4:15 pm Eastern time. It should show up in your podcast feed right around that time, whether it’s Apple or Spotify, and it showed up in my YouTube feed on April 15th ET, and the response has been really good. I knew it would be like this, but I didn’t want to pat myself on the back. I don’t want Dave to pat himself on the back, but I thought it was an excellent 90 minutes and very, very believable.
It’s a very, very noteworthy person to speak on this case, considering she’s a family lawyer and has been through a lot. Now, that’s a lot going on right now. I’m sure it’s going to come back to Gingras, and I’m sure it’s going to come back to Laura, and I’m on pins and needles waiting for David Gingras to comment on Rachel Juarez’s 90-minute speech. It’s because she’s not very good, she doesn’t give a lot of praise when it comes to David Gingras, and we all know David Gingras isn’t good at dealing with people who don’t praise him that much.
He came right back and said that the irony was that he always liked to call people “trolls” online. and losers. However, if someone comes to him and tells him, you are wrong. You lost the case. How many times would you choose L in the case of Laura Owens and Clayton Eckerd. He always had an excuse, he would always call people names back or insult them.
I hope he hears this interview, because if he does, there’s no way he’ll shut up. He didn’t want to hear another family law attorney question his approach, question his strategy in No. 10, basically insult him and say, I wouldn’t do that, and I don’t think he’s doing a good job because of what he’s doing. All he did was ask his witness, Laura, a bunch of yes or no questions that they might have discussed, which didn’t give his client a time to shine, and he wasted a lot of time with her doing this, that person The main thing that needed to happen in that trial, if anything, was to get Clayton Eckert on the stand so he could cross-examine him, but he never did that because he spent 40 minutes on his own The client, dealing with things that the judge already knew, I know, so I’m sure he has something to say about it and maybe he’ll talk about it.
Maybe he won’t but knowing him there’s no way he would shut up about it all just because I have a hard time believing he wouldn’t listen or it wouldn’t come back to him and he would just comment and he’d probably leave if he did Comment on this and I guarantee you his opinion will be, he will be ruining Rachel Juarez and we will be satirizing her TV show about how she is a judge.
Well, I don’t know, anyone who spends five minutes Googling Rachel Juarez and her resume is going to be surprised by David Gingras’ resume. So I hope he comes to me with some fake stuff you know. I heard those judges, the fake judges on TV, talking about me and my situation as an attorney without really reading Rachel’s qualifications, because she is a beast, and she absolutely is.
She would run circles around him in the legal realm. That’s why I put it on her. She was excited to talk about Devon a month ago. She was great yesterday. As you know, I posted it later that day. So if you don’t get it, I’ll take the time because she knows what she’s talking about.
She is a family law attorney herself. This isn’t just someone who reads a lot on the internet and has some opinions about the Clayton and Laura cases. No, no, no, no, no. This is a family law attorney. Clayton and Laura’s case was heard under family law and she checked just about everything. She gave reasons why she did not think the doctors who appeared in court for him, Laura and Gingras were credible.
She gave why she believed Judge Matta gave a 19-page judgment, whereas judgments in family court cases are usually given in one paragraph. All her answers are great. Very thorough, very thoughtful, because before the interview, she said, what are some things you want to discuss?
significance? I know she did her homework. I knew she had taken notes and what she specifically wanted to say, and she didn’t just say it out of thin air. I just gave her the basics. I just said to her, hey, we’re going to talk about the trial. I want to know what you think about the trial. I’d like to know what you think about the modest judgment on page 19.
I want to know what you think. Laura’s attorney and the blog post he wrote on the day of the trial, and you know what’s going to surprise you when the results come out. Maybe you don’t know that I just gave her the summary, but you can tell she did her homework and she knew what she wanted to say when she was interviewed.
I thought she was, she just knocked it out of the park. One of my favorite people to talk to because I’m not a legal person. I don’t know much, if anything, about the law. Yes, I was sued by the show and I learned some things at the time, but it had nothing to do with domestic violence cases and pregnancy cases and temporary restraining orders and stuff like that.
I knew nothing about any of this stuff other than what I read online at the time these stories took place. So she briefed me and gave me a lot of education during the Devon session and also gave me a lot of education yesterday because it was a great conversation. So check out my podcast sources on Apple or Spotify. You can also visit my YouTube page.
See 24, comment there, like it, subscribe. You know, yesterday these things came online at 4:15. As long as you’re on the right track when it’s posted, you can join the live chat while it’s going on, and yes, they’re prerecorded interviews, but when I post them, they have a live chat feed.
Now I understand that not everyone can be in front of their computer. Typically these interviews last about an hour each week. Not everyone will have access to a computer between 9:15am and 10:15am ET on Thursday. but. If available, you can also chat live with the people present. Without commenting, this would definitely be helpful to the YouTube channel, which is clearly trying to grow.
I knew that to develop further, I had to make more videos. I think I’m done, we’ve done 16 weekly videos. Yesterday we started with 400. It’s four fifteen. So you obviously have to count, you have to count 400, which are those 16 of Clayton’s videos. And then I did like seven or eight lives.
so. I think I’ve done that and actually have more in my life than I thought. I think I’ve done 16 lives because I believe I’ve done about 27 since I started Episode 400 with Clayton. Yeah, I’m sticking to what I told you in the beginning, I’m going to have a different t-shirt for every video I make because I have a lot of them, most of them from movies or TV shows from the eighties and nineties .
Yesterday there was a photo of Teen Wolf wearing Michael Jordan and Air Jordan poses for a dunk. But I didn’t, and trust me, I had it saved in a note on my phone. I haven’t worn the same T-shirt on any video since I started making this video. Any of the 16 weekly podcasts or any of the live streams, I haven’t had a repeat on a shirt yet.
I’ve done 27 shows. I have close to 60 T-shirts. Now. I’ve gotten to the point where I need to start digging and find some others. Because the ones that I wear regularly are the ones that I wear regularly, I’ve almost worn them in my shows. So you don’t really need to know about my wardrobe.
you? I think not. Go check out the interview. I think this is great. Dave was great and asked a lot of great questions, and I really enjoyed giving Rachel this platform. It just sits there. Let her talk because she knows what she’s talking about. I think it’s a good interview to hear if you’ve been following this case from day one or if you’ve been following it from a distance and you’ve seen the headlines and heard about the trial but you don’t Know the specifics.
