look like Daniel Craig will work with the director Luca Guadagnino for DC Studios Movies Sgt. rock. The two recently collaborated on the upcoming film Queer.
Sgt. “Rock” will be Guadagnino’s next film project, with a screenplay by challenger and Queer scribe Justin Kuritzkes.
Craig will play the title role in the film Sgt. Franklin “Frank” Locke, created by Robert Kaniher and Joe Kubert, is primarily known for his leading role in the World War II themed comic series our troops at warlater changed its name to Sgt. rock.
The character first appeared in 1959 as a tough, no-nonsense infantryman who led Easy Company, a group of battle-hardened soldiers on the European battlefields of World War II.
Locke is characterized by an unwavering sense of duty, excellent fighting skills, and fierce loyalty to his men, often serving as both a father and a protector.
His story is gritty and grounded, focusing on the brutal realities of war, the friendships between soldiers, and the personal toll of combat, making him one of DC’s iconic military heroes.
As a fan of the character, I want the movie to be great, and I think Craig will do a great job in the role.
What are your thoughts on Craig taking on the role of Sgt. rock?
