David Fincher2002 home invasion thriller panic room It was finally released in 4K UHD on SteelBook, Blu-ray and digital versions via Sony on February 18th.
The film was restored in 4K, with the entire process overseen by the director using Dolby Vision/HDR and Dolby Atmos audio.
What a great movie! I love its direction and visual style. This is a very unique home invasion thriller and one of the best ever made. I’m looking forward to watching the 4K version!

In the film, “newly divorced Meg Altman (Jodie Foster) and her daughter Sarah (Christine Stewart) are trapped in a panic room in an upscale New York City building. Inside, a hidden room built to prevent break-ins, she plays a deadly role in a cat-and-dog battle between three intruders: Colm (played by James Corm) and Junior (played by Jared Leto). A game of mice. But the room itself is the focus, because what the intruder really wants is what’s inside.
