David Spade and Theo Feng (this past weekend) will star in and produce the buddy comedy film handy-manwhich they also wrote and was self-funded.
The film is set in a border town in Arizona and tells the story of two friends, David and Theo, who “think becoming waiters will solve all their problems.” They are wrong.
I don’t know who would think that becoming water would solve all their problems, but we’ll find out why these two characters think that when the movie comes out. I wonder if this could be a Dumb and Dumber Something.
“We look forward to entertaining everyone with this comedy no one asked for,” David Spade shared in a statement.
The film will be produced by Jonah Feingold (At Midnight, Dating & New York, EXmas), production will begin on January 10th in Los Angeles.
