It’s a big ask for a teenager to be in a relationship with a boy who is having a baby with another girl.
It’s doubly difficult when the girl is Sophia. Holly’s former best friend has done nothing but cause problems for Holly and Tate.
Unsurprisingly, Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 1/13/25 reveal that Holly is discussing leaving the Tate Gallery.
Tate’s romantic gesture not enough for Holly
Tate still pretends that he’s not going to experience a life-changing event with a girl he’s not interested in.
If Sofia hadn’t been pregnant, using a romantic gesture to lure Holly back would have made sense and the scene would have been sweet.
This Tate baby story is mostly for drama (we all know Tate and Holly will get back together eventually!), but pretending he doesn’t plan on becoming a father won’t do Tate any favors, and it won’t do Holly any good either Deeply impressed.
If Tate wants to be with Holly, all he needs to do is explain to her how it’s going to work, but it’s not rational to expect a 17-year-old who was recently arrested for taking his ex-boyfriend across state lines to get an abortion. Think about this.
Regardless, Tate’s actions may make Holly think twice about cutting ties with him, but it won’t ultimately win her over.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 1/13/25 have Holly thinking about Doug III.
Holly has no good choices in this love triangle.
Tate is a decent guy who is trying to do the right thing but doesn’t fully understand the extent to which his life is about to change. He’ll soon end up with his ex-girlfriend who hates Holly.
Doug III has a capacity for decency, as evidenced by his genuine concern for Julie, but he stole Alice Horton’s necklace and sold it to pay off the debts of those nasty people, God only knows who he is What else is there in the past.
Holly is already keeping his secret, and she’s planning to lie to Maggie.
Nothing good will come of her going down this road, especially not a year after she lied to everyone about her drug problem.
Philip is backed into a corner, but his fake storyline is far from over
Stephanie breaks up with Philp and seems ready to tell Sarah the truth, but that doesn’t mean Philipp’s forgery will be revealed anytime soon.
Sarah had hoped that Philip and Xander’s partnership would curb Xander’s worse impulses, and she knew that Philip was the only thing standing between Xander and Dimera Enterprises’ hostile takeover.
Since she doesn’t like the idea, she might decide to go along with Phillip’s ruse because she wants the guardrails to be strong against Xander’s potentially horrific thoughts.
I know. It pained me to roll my eyes at the thought. Sarah is usually one of those morally flawed upstanding characters (although she did run away with baby Rachel after learning she was Kristen’s child, which is one of the reasons Kristen hates her .
That might be why Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 1/13/25 say Sarah will swear Stephanie to secrecy.
Do Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 1/13/25 indicate that Sarah will betray Xander?
It made sense for Sarah to keep the truth secret, even though it was a bad idea.
Sarah’s biggest fear is that Sander breaks the law in some significant way and is sent to prison.
Still, how many times had Xander complained that the only thing standing between him and the Titan’s absolute control was that “stupid bloody letter from Victor”?
If Sarah knew the letter was fake and prevented Xander from learning the truth, then she was no better than Philip in his eyes.
She was complicit in stealing from Xander what Xander rightfully owned. This is the same thing Theresa did when she forged a (different) letter to deny Sander’s inheritance.
Xander was ready to kill Theresa for this, so how will he feel when he learns his wife did the same thing?
It’s not something that’s easy to recover from, and with new writers on board, I’m not sure Sarah and Xander will ever become a couple.
Sorry, Xara fans! This could be the beginning of the end for this couple, and that sucks.
Please don’t tell me Ava is going to give in to Rachel’s bullshit
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 1/13/25 reveal that Rachel will continue to misbehave and Ava wants to cut ties with Brady.
I hate that Ava is written as weak.
This woman is a former mafia princess who shot down Sean Sr.’s plane, used Kayla to force Steve to have sex with her multiple times, and was not above kidnapping EJ’s mother to piss him off.
She should be one of the baddest women on television, not someone who recoils from a teenager pissing her off in a vague, childish way.
Ava could also go in the same stupid direction as Chloe and decide she has to break up with Brady “for Rachel.”
This nonsense is exactly why Rachel is having these problems.
Brady and Kristen are on the same page, they want her to be better off and not use her money and power to manipulate, break the law with impunity, and make enemies throughout Salem. Start by denying that Rachel has any power over her parents’ relationship.
Rachel would act out whenever Brady was with someone other than her mother, and Brady and his then-girlfriend agreed they would break up because it would upset Rachel.
This is terrible parenting. Rachel needs to realize once and for all that she can’t manipulate Brady and Kristen into rekindling their relationship.
She needed to face the heartbreak of her parents’ divorce and process it, and she also needed firm boundaries and the message that while her pain was understandable, it didn’t mean she could act on her own terms.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for weeks 1-13-25 don’t reveal what Rachel does now, but Kristen will find out about her inappropriate behavior again and it’s 50-50 whether she’ll take action.
I rarely like Kristen, but I was impressed that she punished Rachel for those first threatening texts.
That’s more than Brady has ever done. When he sends Rachel to her room or otherwise punishes her, he usually spends half an hour reassuring her that he won’t be angry.
Does anyone care about this stupid whistleblower lady storyline?
According to Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 1/13/25, Leo is involved in two stories this week.
He and Harvey will reconcile. Unfortunately, Gabi’s reaction was more or less the same as Julie’s reaction to JJ’s interest in Gabi.
To make matters worse, Leo is determined to set a trap for Ms. Whistleblower (aka Kerry), Harvey’s latest ex, whom Leo has rejected.
This story is based on such a weak premise.
Sorry, but an anonymous columnist spoiling a soap opera is not a scandal, and it doesn’t end a show or a writer’s career.
I shouldn’t spend time in my own spoiler article explaining that real life soap producers trying to shut down all such articles would violate the First Amendment for no reason.
Days of Our Lives called for the cancellation of “Ms. Whistleblower” because the show deformed a beloved character like Abe by publishing scathing negative reviews in addition to sharing spoilers.
The whole story looks like outgoing head writer Ron Carlivati’s fantasy revenge against critics and other entertainment journalists — and it’s only going to have fans counting down the days until the new writing team’s material starts airing .
Hopefully whatever trap Leo sets works and we can get away from this ridiculous storyline.
