No, that’s not Jay Kenneth Johnston playing Philip
Let’s get this out of the way right away: The guy returning at the end of Friday’s episode is played by John Paul Rasower, not Jay Kenneth Johnston, and that’s not changing anytime soon .
I know this disappoints some fans so much that they don’t care about the story, but I hope most people will overlook the actor who plays Philip. This is going to be great!
The last time Philip and Xander had an argument over Titan’s CEO position, it turned into a childish tantrum instead of the two working together.
Phillip now had more reasons to hate Xander.
Suddenly, Xander is not only his brother who owns the entire company, but he also wants to sell it to the late Victor Kiriakis’s greatest enemy for an experimental serum that The serum may or may not cure Sarah’s paralysis.
Philip’s revenge may be just as strong as Victor’s, so Xander better watch out!
Philippe and Vivian collaborate!
Louise Sorel is back and together she and Philippe are going to wreak havoc.
Surprised? Me too, because Philip generally hates Vivian.
The last time he was in Salem, she called him son and he pushed her away and told her to never talk to him again, so what?
He clearly wants to ensure that the Titans remain in Kiriaki’s hands so badly that he will do whatever it takes to make it happen.
It looks like the whole family is united against Xander. Justin is already trying to talk some sense into him, and Phillippe might actually team up with Brady, too!
I usually hate these executive stories, but if Philip were to ally with the enemy of his enemy, this would be a whole new story worth watching.
Kristen will be going through some things when her deal falls through, but first, we have some surprising casting news: Brandon Barash is no longer playing Stefan .
The decision was story-driven rather than actor choice, meaning whoever the masked man who attacked him was either going to kill him or drag him off to parts unknown.

Fiona shouldn’t be so complacent about her “victory”
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 10/28/24 say Sarah will take out her anger on Fiona.
Fiona couldn’t push her down the stairs this time and she was caught red-handed with a drink in hand just minutes after her lawyers were temporarily freed.
I don’t understand why EJ would listen to Trask. Yes, the case was weak because he had previously insisted on prosecuting Brady for the same crime, but that never stopped a Salem jury from delivering a conviction.
Trask prosecuted Belle for the murder of Charlie Dale, even though she was the fifth person to be arrested and the only evidence was a button from Belle’s jacket found at the scene, so how could Fiona’s case be possible? Not to sue?
That’s plot-driven crap, but at least now she’ll get a healthy dose of karma from Sarah.
Fiona tries to kill Sarah to keep her quiet so the whole city will know what she did and what she thought she got away with.
If Fiona was smart, she would go right back to the police station and confess. Sarah is terrifying when she’s angry, wheelchair or not, and whatever she does is nothing compared to Xander.
He has severed ties with his mother, so he has no reason now not to be as violent to her as he was to Brady, when he thought he was the one who left Sarah dead on the side of the road.
Alternatively, coward Fiona could run back to Scotland with her tail between her legs and never come back, which is probably what she would do.
After all, few in Salem paid for their crimes.
News about “Abigail” spreads
Around the world, the fake Abigail (aka Green Cat) faces serious problems after her plot is uncovered.
Kate and Mark have two powerful men ready to bring hell to them. I don’t know when Clyde became a supervillain, but they were afraid of him…but it was Chad they should be afraid of.
Chad gets into DiMera’s madness when someone hurts his family, and pretending to be his dead wife hurts him and everyone he loves. If JJ were still around, he would have some nasty things to say about the conspirators.
What was supposed to happen was that these two were turned over to the police, but when was the last time anyone in Salem did anything simple?
New Hernandez is coming
Gabby and Rafe’s conversation about their randomly dead aunt will pay off when cousin Harvey shows up at Gabby’s door.
I’d rather they find a way to cut through the crap about Daario’s escape, but I have a feeling this new guy is going to be Daario 2.0.
Rafe says he feels bad that the cousin didn’t get the ring his aunt left for him, but by the time this story is over, he probably won’t feel that way anymore!
Holly is ready to forgive, but has Tate moved on?
In true soap opera fashion, Holly is finally ready to forgive Tate (and Eric, by the way), but Tate has just admitted his feelings for Sophia.
I don’t really like Tate with either of those two. Sophia is a schemer and Holly won’t hesitate to throw Tate or his family under the bus when it suits her.
Still, Holly is a better choice than Sophia, and it’s clear they’re in the home stretch, so at best, this crap is just a bump in the road.
A better story would have been for JJ to stay and provide Holly with some support with the life-changing secret she learned about her stepfather.
JJ suffers from severe mental health issues, which come to a head when he learns that his family kept Jack’s rape of Kayla a secret years ago, and that Daniel later helped him put his life back together.
There’s no one better to help Holly figure this out, but it doesn’t sound like we’re getting that scene, at least not yet.

I hope I enjoy this spoiler.
I like Joey. I used to like Johnny. Why did these two have to be involved in this ridiculous cheating storyline?
Everything bad comes from the storyline of Body and Soul. Every horror story of the past few months has something to do with this.
Now, it’s ruining a new character that I’m excited about and one of the few couples on Days of Our Lives that I can root for.
