If you hate love triangles, we have bad news. Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of September 30 suggest things are going to heat up in both games.
To make matters worse, there’s also a lot of Body and Soul drama, which means the soap-within-a-soap has a long airtime this week.
Still, even if these stories don’t turn out that way, there’s still a lot to look forward to.
Alex and Stephanie or Alex and Chanel?
Alex and Chanel become friends again, which could mean trouble
Alex has been attracted to Stephanie again for some time. This is why I think the Johnny/Chanel/Alex storyline is ridiculous.
I also don’t like that this storyline is a predictable part of the dumbest meta storyline on TV, with all this drama coming from Chanel playing Alex’s love interest on Body and Soul.
The good news is that Johnny will sincerely apologize for accusing Chanel of wanting to have sex with Alex.
She also deserves an apology because Johnny did his job and went to the writer with his notes on the proposed story.
Regardless, this isn’t the end of this silly love triangle, even though it should be.
Chanel is happily married, or at least, she was before this crap started.
Alex is interested in Stephanie.
So why do Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 9/30/24 insist on making something out of nothing?
If you’re going to do a love triangle, do it in a meaningful way. Just saying.
Heidi’s ultimatum sparks chaos
The heroine demands her way but no one likes it
Deidre Hall’s free-spirited Heidi is always fun to watch, especially when interacting with Hall’s more serious, outspoken Dr. Marlena Evans.
But enough is enough.
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of September 30 say Body and Souls is headed for disaster as it begins taping as Heidi wants her way or the highway.
Why couldn’t the director, writer, or producer just tell Heidi to get a white dress and find a decent person there? This Heidi thing isn’t just a tired TV trope; it’s just plain annoying!
Johnny tries to reconcile with Chanel
Later in the week, he got disappointing news from Kate
According to Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 9/30/24, Johnny will apologize to Chanel for their ridiculous argument, but that’s unlikely to be the end of the issue.
For one thing, Kate turned down his request the next day, which likely means a lot of love scenes for Alex and Chanel.
Johnny’s jealousy is likely to grow, and Chanel makes it clear she won’t tolerate him reporting the change of scene involving Alex to his boss, even though it’s part of his job description.
Only in Salem would a fake soap opera on a soap opera have so much drama!
I hope this doesn’t include Johnny and Chanel breaking up, or Kate being blackmailed by someone like Heidi, both of which are ridiculous.
Stephanie and Alex are happy together…for now

Stephanie is attracted to Alex again, which is great news for Johnny and Chanel. Anyway, that’s how it should be.
However, if Chanel and Alex become an item rather than just pretending to be one, it could set the stage for double heartbreak.
Considering the recent death of “the love of her life” Everett/Bobby, it seems premature for Stephanie to seek a new partner.
She should bond with Chad over the loss of her significant other. But what impact does the Alex/Chanel thing have on the way she bounces back and forth between Chad and Alex?
Plus, what happens when Chad finally wakes up to the fact that Abigail isn’t who she claims to be? So will he rush into Stephanie’s arms?
Holly and Sophia compete for Tate Gallery
Holly is fed up with her ex-bestie consoling her ex-boyfriend
This twisted love triangle makes more sense than the Alex/Chanel/Johnny one.
Holly, Sophia and Tate are all teenagers who believe their first love must be their only love, and former best friends fighting over a boy is a classic soap opera plot.
Still, the whole mess is complicated by Brady being accused of getting drunk and running over Holly’s aunt.
Tate kicked Holly out of the house after their last fight, so are these two still together?
It’s also possible that EJ will do anything to stop it because he wants to manipulate Holly for his own purposes, while Fiona decides to be friends with Sophia for some reason. This should add to the drama!
Kristen fights for Brady more than she fights for herself
She’s as determined to prove his innocence as he is to go to jail
Brady believes Sarah’s lies and is in full self-punishment mode, determined to go to prison and end it all.
Unfortunately, this leaves the door open for Kristen to slip back into his life, as she’s equally determined to get him out of trouble.
Kristen is one of those charming villains we’d never want to associate with in real life, and Brady should know better.
Before he got involved with Fiona, he knew Kristen was supposed to be just a co-parent to him, and he told her in no uncertain terms that she had no chance with him.
But that might change if she can prove once and for all that he saved his life by not hitting Sarah that fateful night. Brady and Kristen have been down this road so many times that we hope we don’t have to go there again.
Fiona confronts Sarah about Sarah’s lies

Fiona lets her anxiety get the best of her and it’s so annoying.
I hope the truth comes out. Brady should not be in jail for Fiona’s crimes. But she can’t have it both ways.
Either she tells the truth and she and Brady break up for the sake of drama, or she holds him accountable for his crimes. It’s that simple.
The truth will eventually come out, and she’ll likely lose everyone she’s holding onto.
She and Brady had broken up amid drama because Sander didn’t like them dating. So what’s the point of trying to keep Brady by playing both sides now?
Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 9/30/24 raise the stakes for fake Abigail
Julie’s suggestion will make everything worse
Bad news for Chad and his family: Julie urges him to introduce the kids to “Abigail.”
No, just no.
First, Thomas might discover that the woman is a liar, and then she might blackmail a kid into shutting up, just like Fake Dee did to her neighbor.
If that didn’t happen and the truth came out some other way, it would be devastating for Chad’s children, especially if they were already attached to their “resurrected mom.”
It’s bad enough that Chad wanted Abigail alive so badly that he believed a bunch of blatant lies and bogus DNA tests without bringing the kids into it. Hope this doesn’t happen.
I’m overwhelmed by this spoiler.
Dimeras is not prosecuting. They seek revenge in other, more gang-like ways.
Stefan and EJ had a much worse experience.
Hell, he just survived Gabby’s show, like she did in a classic successful TV comedy, putting duct tape partitions all over the house to force him to take his side.
Besides, what reason did EJ have to sue when the worst thing that happened to Stefan’s accusation was that Paulina gasped before deciding not to fire him?
He even grew closer to Stefan’s ex-wife because of their feud. So where is the harm worthy of a lawsuit?
