Annoyingly, there’s so much about Connie in Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 9/9/24, but that’s probably good news.

As the stories draw to a close, they suddenly become overexposed, with the characters involved appearing every day until resolution.

Spoilers show Connie trying to catch Melinda, Jada becoming suspicious and Paulina desperately trying to get Rafe to wake up and tell her who stabbed him. If this story follows the usual pattern, it will be almost over!

Connie’s story has spiraled out of control

    it needs to end soon

Connie started out as a small character as an obnoxious Lee fangirl obsessed with true crime, and ended up becoming the latest Salemite to go on a killing spree.

This was over the top in Days of Our Lives in the first place, and it’s over the top again now, thanks to Shin Lee’s damn cardboard cutout.

It’s scary enough that an amnesiac Abe is imprisoned by a grief-stricken Wheatley, who tries to save her late husband by making Abe think they were married.

Who asked for a rerun with this stupid cardboard cutout?

Still, Connie kidnapping Melinda could be her undoing, especially considering Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of September 9, 2024 reveal that walls are closing in on the serial killer and kidnapper.

Fiona is desperate to keep Sarah quiet

Suffocating Sarah is a bad idea anyway

As Sarah begins to recall the details of the accident, another troublemaker is about to be discovered.

She didn’t remember the driver’s face, most likely she just remembered that it was a woman with long hair.

No one would associate this description with Fiona.

Still, Fiona has reason to panic because she’s finally in Xander’s good graces, which will disappear if he knows the truth.

However, trying to suffocate Sarah with a pillow, using the TV cliche, is a bad plan. Xander knew Fiona and Sarah were alone together and when he left the room Sarah showed no signs of breathing problems, so how would Fiona explain that?

    Holly slams Eric

Her future stepfather arrives too late to properly explain himself

Holly was understandably upset. She had idolized Eric all these years and now he was her mother’s boyfriend, but no one told her that he also killed her father in a drunk driving accident.

Holly never knew Daniel, and growing up without knowing who her father was may have left her feeling like something was missing.

Days of Our Lives could have told a touching mental health story right here, but instead they gave us the Reader’s Digest version of what happened when JJ found out his father raped his aunt.

Tate spills the beans, and now Holly is completely devastated — Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of 9/9/24 reveal she’ll treat Eric like he’s the scariest person in the world .

It’s a great soap opera, but it could benefit from some nuance.

Holly’s feelings of betrayal, sadness, and anger are understandable, but characters in DAYS always take a sudden turn and think that someone they loved and admired is now their worst enemy. If Holly had mixed feelings, that would be a refreshing change.

Paulina asks Rafe to wake up

The mayor has had enough of his comatose state

Only Paulina Price would think she could barge into a hospital room and demand someone come out of a coma, but that’s what Days of Our Lives spoilers say for the week of 9/9/24 What she wants to do.

If successful, it would be one of the least bizarre things to happen in Salem.

Still, even though I knew Paulina was dead serious, the idea of her asking for this shocked me.

She may have lost faith in Jada and wants Rafe to be awake, alert, and ready to take over the duties of commissioner again—even though Jada is a better cop so far.

    Connie continues to torture Melinda

If this leads to Connie’s downfall, let’s move on.

Melinda Trask has never been the kind of character we want to relate to, but she suddenly becomes sympathetic.

Or, at least, rooted in this silly story.

The sooner Melinda breaks free from the bed that binds her and goes back to being arrogant about everyone she thinks should be in jail, the better.

Hopefully someone will burn or shred Lee’s cardboard head while rescuing her.

    Jada to the rescue! (perhaps…)

She thinks something’s wrong with Connie

    Trust those instincts, Jada!

The Salem Police Department is often a Keystone police officer, but Jada is an exception. She’s smart, intuitive and has closed more cases than anyone else.

Viewers know she’s right about Connie, but will she follow her instincts?

We hope so. Two weeks of Melinda being tied to the bed was enough.

    Holly and EJ get closer

Her anger makes her vulnerable to his manipulation

ah. Holly’s anger at Eric was not worth it.

Days of Our Lives spoilers for the week of September 9 say she will get close to EJ, and we all know what that means.

EJ will want to use Holly as a pawn against his mother.

I’m not sure how this will work considering Ali Zucker’s lawsuit against Days of Our Lives and how unlikely it is that Nicole will ever appear on our screens again.

Eric is in Salem, though, so EJ can continue to drive a wedge between the two men as he pleases.

Kristen becomes latest person to try to stop Brady from pleading guilty

She encouraged him not to give up his life

I almost hope Brady is guilty.

This storyline was a great PSA about the dangers of drunk driving and how being an alcoholic is no excuse for endangering others — except Brady didn’t actually do it.

This disrupts social messaging, which is a shame.

EJ has temporarily dropped the charges, so I’m not sure why Brady still needs to be convinced, unless he insists on prosecuting him.

Even for this character, that’s ridiculous. We hope this is not what is happening.

Marina hypnotized someone, but it wasn’t fake Abigail

Chad is left alone to recall her memories

According to Days of Our Lives spoilers, the week of 9/9/24, Marina will hypnotize Sarah to help her remember the details of the accident.

That’s great. This means Fiona can’t get away with her silly pillow stunt, and the truth about who was driving when Sarah was injured may soon come to light

However, there seems to be someone more suitable for hypnosis: “Abigail”.

Of course she couldn’t have it. Jane Doe Green is a character who is good at keeping secrets, but she may not be good at lying to pretend to be hypnotized and remember things that aren’t hers.

Still, it’s strange that Chad takes matters into his own hands instead of pushing her to see Marlena.

At the very least, he should seek help from a world-renowned hypnotherapist, even if she doesn’t want to.
