Warner Chappell Music UK has announced a strategic partnership with British dance music label Defected Records.
This cooperation will see Warner Music GroupThe music publishing sector in the UK specializes in managing publishing rosters and catalogs defection musicthe publishing arm of Defector Records.
Defect recordFounded in 1999, focusing on electronic music. It has worked with artists including Bob Sinclair, Tomorrow’s Kings, Work Masters, Inner City, Dennis Ferrell, Lenny Fontana, and Mark Kinchin.
The house music company said its publishing arm Defected Music has experienced “huge success” recently, beyonceof revival album, and Elton John and Dua Lipaof Cold Heart (PNAU Remix), and tracks from Purple disco machine and John summitinclude Replace, where are you, and camel hairof Cola.
The partnership between WCM UK and Defected Records is expected to provide the latter with Warner Chappell Music’s global reach and resources to expand its audience.
