Jazz vs. Heavy Boot showdown leads to gunfire
We’re coming off a cliffhanger in Discovery Season 2 Episode 9, and no, we’re not just talking about how our beloved Dhan was fighting for his life after that heartbreaking shooting.
No, some of the other fine men found were engaged in a duel, or at least that’s what the elegant, regal Hugh Evans thought as he pointed his gun at Heavy Boots with all the majesty of royalty.
Hugh Evans is a classy man – when he’s not a raging narcissist keen to make everyone’s lives a mess.
Armed with a photo of a beautiful missing child, Jazz gains some valuable intel on Trent’s father, the brilliant James Trent, a living legend of the DCPD.
The problem is that these missing children never got the attention they deserved, and authorities presumably never found them. The Jazz accused senior Trent of playing a major role in the cover-up.
This showed there was some foul play at Daddy Trent’s job, and Heavy Boots didn’t take the news well. However, he didn’t seem to be that surprised by his father.
The long-awaited tense face-off between Mister and Heavy Boots is enough to make us die-hard Discovery fanatics gasp at the end of our seats, but then we hear a gunshot!
Stills and sneak peeks show Trent emerges unscathed
The good news, and we’ll say this reluctantly because it’s a valid point, is that Heavy Boots succeeded in its encounter with the Living Jazz.
It looks like he didn’t suffer any damage, which is a relief considering we’re down to one M&A member. But it leaves us wondering what happened to Sir and if he’s back in the spotlight.
Gabby and Heavy Boots may be trying to figure that out, but there’s a lot else going on these days, as M&A and the police take on yet another case while searching for a missing college student whose fraternity was shamed and exposed He is gay.
Time is running out to find the child, but there are many other clues at play.
Arrest warrant issued for Gabby Mosley
In our exclusive sneak peek, Heavy Boots are following the latest news surrounding their investigation.
Interestingly, DCPD lists Christian Evans as a “person of interest,” meaning they have not yet successfully tracked him down.
Presumably the workings are that he was somehow involved and helped his brother. Now, police are throwing their weight behind this theory and letting the rest of the world know.
This isn’t the best news for Christian, but is anyone else wondering if he’s still alive?
But Christian isn’t the only one on DCPD’s radar, as a warrant is ready for Gabi’s arrest and the captain gives Trent the green light to arrest her.
Ironically, Gabi is currently texting Heavy Boots asking for help, leaving him conflicted about whether he really wants to arrest the woman he loves.
The police have both a search warrant and an arrest warrant, so they’ll likely tear down Gabby’s home, that faithful basement, and M&A. And there’s no telling what they’ll find when they do!
Mallory notices how conflicted Heavy Boots feels and asks if he is ready for the mission, but Trent reminds him that there is still a missing college student out there and that his priorities are to protect and serve.
Trent seems to have finally gotten what he claimed he wanted, but now he’s starting to have second thoughts or realize how ridiculous that is. But is it too little, too late?
The missing gay kid is the perfect case for Dan, but is he ready?
You can’t keep M&A’s most loyal soldier depressed for long, and chances are, Dhan is on the mend after going through something terrible.
Get to know him and he’ll want to get involved with the next big case, especially when he learns that the kid disappeared after being outed as gay.
But one wonders if Dhan would be willing to do so, or if his husband would allow him to take any action, as Ethan insists there is some space between Dhan and the acquisitions, especially Gabi.
If Dan doesn’t get involved in this case, he’s definitely going to be ready to throw a tantrum about the search warrant!
If Gabby is arrested within the hour, what are the chances that Danielle Savre’s sexy criminal defense attorney Heather Tollins will step up to defend her?
Our brains are working overtime trying to figure out this mysterious new character and how she’s connected to everything.
Plus, this only fuels the theory that she’s working with Jazz, since he warned Heavy Boots to drop the charges against Gabi, and now Trent will be spearheading the prosecution anyway.
