    Movie review:

    • Martha: Unfortunately there’s a lot of overacting in this movie. There’s also a lot of bad acting in this movie. They didn’t go back to Dracula’s past like other versions. There are a lot of tits in this, which is pretty cliche. The story jumps around a bit and feels like bits and pieces are being pieced together. I’m hoping to bring in some cool effects for a more dynamic story and a better cast. This is not an ab horror movie, I don’t even think I would classify it as an ac horror movie. I think this is more of an advertising horror movie. Honestly, I could see the actors portraying the characters they played, but just with a better script and better direction. Honestly, that’s lower than every actor in it. Sorry to say.
    • CinemaSerf: “Hey, Dad!” daughter Asha said to dad Dario, “I’d love to be in a Dracula movie.” “Oh, okay,” he retorted. “I can arrange that. Even better – why not do it in 3D? After a few friendly phone calls we ended up watching this embarrassing TV-style movie that claimed to be sexy but actually A rather cheesy and bland remake of a story that’s already dead. The dull and uncharismatic Unax Ugalde is a character from “Jonathan Harker”. Traveling to visit the eponymous Count (the utterly unthreatening Thomas Kretschmann) at his remote castle, that’s where they’re all supposed to be. The rest follows standard format, as does his wife. Panicked when “Mina” (Marta Gastini) becomes the object of his vampire host’s insatiable desires, he turns to Rutger Hauer (“Van Helsing”), who is clearly down on his luck. And trying to save the day, the young couple also become creatures of the night. The whole thing makes Hammer look like Fellini, with makeup and effects straight out of a toothpaste tube (or ketchup bottle). As bland as the pancakes are, there’s an almost comical sterility to the whole project that starts off as entertaining but ends up being hilarious and will be a struggle for even the most ardent fans of the “Dracula” story. Perhaps a fight that should be avoided.
