Heatwave, a London-based record label that aims to sign artists from emerging markets, has signed a joint publishing deal with Kobalt.
The new deal will see the two companies join forces to “discover and develop new artists, songwriters and producers from around the world,” according to the announcement.
Heatwave was launched this year by Tyler Brown, former managing director of Syco Music, and Harold Serero, former senior A&R executive at Ultra Music Publishing.
