Evan Peters and Ryan Murphy are working together on another series for FX called beauty. Ashton Kutcher, Anthony Ramosand Jeremy Pope Will also star in the play,
This series is adapted from the image comic series of the same name created by the author Jeremy Haun and Jason Hurley.
The description of the story goes like this: “Modern society is obsessed with external beauty. What if there was a way to ensure that you became more and more beautiful every day? What if it was a sexually transmitted disease?
“In the world beautyphysical perfection is achievable. Most people take advantage of it, but Detectives Foster and Vaughn will soon discover it comes at a terrible cost.
I’m not familiar with the comic, but it does sound like a fun and crazy story. Production is expected to begin this fall, with FX ordering 11 episodes.
Matthew Hodgson is a co-creator of the series, with Peters, Murphy, Hodgson, Kutcher, Ramos and Pope serving as executive producers.
Peters and Murphy collaborated on nine films american horror storyand he also received one-tenth of the producer credit. Peters also appeared in the first season of the FX series posturewhich Murphy also co-founded.
Peters recently starred in the Netflix series Dahmer – Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Storywith whom Murphy co-founded Ian Brennan. Peters won a Golden Globe for the series and was nominated for an Emmy.
