The 2024 Strictly Come Dancing final is almost here, with four celebrities vying for the glittering trophy on Saturday night. Ellie Leach won last year’s series and this year’s competition may not be as close as this nail-biting victory. We’ll take you through each couple’s chances of winning Strictly 2024, based on odds from each betting site.
Chris McCausland – 93.3% chance of winning
Where do we begin with this man? You’d be forgiven for not knowing much about Chris McCausland, but he’s definitely making his mark on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing. The comedian is paired with Dianne Buswell, who herself has yet to emerge as the show’s winner, but if the odds are to be believed, that looks set to change.
McCausland, who endeared himself to the British public on Strictly, has struck up a good partnership with Buswell, who has not been shy in expressing his praise for the blind 47-year-old , she was registered as blind after losing her sight in her 20s. He didn’t let that get to him, though, and his performance got better and better as time went on. He’s struggled to knock the likes of JB Gill and Tasha Ghouri off the judges’ charts, but the public seems to love him and his story and he’ll be the show’s worthy winner. He has a 93.3% chance of winning Strictly Come Dancing 2024.
JB Gill – 7.7% chance of winning
JB Gill experienced a lot of positives and negatives during his time on Strictly Come Dancing, with his results in the early stages of the competition being mixed and his struggle to stay on the show even after facing a dance competition. However, he has definitely improved in recent weeks.
It’s worth remembering that JB also had to deal with his first co-star on the show, Amy Dowden, who had to quit after being rushed to hospital in week six. Lauren Oakley followed in Dowden’s footsteps and helped him score a perfect 40 points in the semifinals. His odds of winning Strictly Come Dancing are 7.7%, which may seem low, but that’s largely because Chris McCausland is the most popular among the public.
Sarah Hadland – 3.4% chance of winning
The actress has surprised many of the show’s avid viewers and totally deserves to be a Strictly 2024 finalist. She teamed up with popular professional Vito Coppola, who certainly brought out the best in Hadland. So far, we haven’t seen a perfect 40 from Sarah and Vito, but they’ll likely save that for this weekend’s finals.
She topped the judges’ leaderboard in week 9 with 39 points, which saw her potentially beat Tasha Ghouri despite the Love Island star being above her on the leaderboard most weeks No wonder. Hadland’s chances of winning are 3.4 per cent and it seems difficult for her to come close to calling McCausland a referendum on Sunday.
Tasha Ghouri – 3.2% chance of winning
Tasha Ghouri is the star of Love Island who turned heads on this year’s Strictly Come Dancing for all the right reasons. Since Week 5 of the competition, she has never scored less than 37 points out of 40, which is a very impressive statistic considering we are now entering Week 13 of the competition.
She and Aljaž Škorjanec are arguably the best dancers on the show in terms of performance ability, but for some reason they have struggled to maintain the public’s confidence in recent weeks. Despite being high on the leaderboard, Tasha has been competing in the dance competition for the past two weeks, suggesting she is unlikely to challenge for the Strictly Come Dancing trophy, especially given that the judges’ scores mean nothing in the competition. Because it all depends on the public vote.
