Fans are hesitant about Fire Nation Season 3 after ratings for Season 2 dropped. We wonder if the magic of the show’s first season worked simply because it was new.
The ten-episode shortening created major problems for the fledgling show, but the CBS network greenlighted the show for a third season anyway.
As a Fire Nation fanatic, this viewer is so glad they took the risk!
The third season of “Fire Nation” returns like a blazing fire, like a phoenix reborn from the ashes, burning up in the fierce competition. The action begins with the opening scene of the first episode, but it’s not over yet.
After all, there is still hope for this drama!
First, we may finally be free from the soap opera drama the show forced us to endure in its second season.
From Gabriella calling off her engagement after the wedding because she fell in love with Baldur, to her ending any chance of a relationship with Baldur in Fire Nation Season 3 Episode 3.
The baby daddy drama involving Jake and his adopted daughter Gene also appears to be coming to an end. Hope so.
We just found out that Rick was the once unknown father. Poor Bode.
Jean was not happy with the news, and she kept Jack at bay. We expect Fire Nation Season 3 Episode 4 to move the story towards resolution. It’s nice to see Gene asking Bode for advice.
Now that Bode has no prison and no Gabriella to keep him in check, he needs something to keep him grounded. The show capitalized on Bode’s emotional bond with G in its second season. However, we don’t see him interact with her at all in season three.
Becoming Uncle Bode might be his ticket to redemption.
Camden Casey in particular impressed Bode’s reckless side in Fire Nation Season 3 Episode 5 .
In Fire Nation Season 3 Episode 2, Bode gets into trouble with Jack after a fellow firefighter nearly dies. .
Jack tells the victim to report the incident to his boss, which ultimately results in Bode being kicked out of fire training and Gabriella being kicked out of fire training.
As we enter Fire Nation Season 3 Episode 4, Bode is on strike twice. Another mistake was made, and he withdrew from fire training even though he only participated in one training session.
I’m still not sure if Jack overreacted to Bode and used inside information to deceive the fire test. Technically, he wasn’t the one who decided to cheat. He simply provided information to his partner and then stalked her because she decided to use cheating to their advantage.
I’d love to hear your thoughts, Fire Nation fanatics. I oscillate between loving and hating Jack every episode. I don’t want my dark feelings to taint my perception.
Should Bode be kicked out of fire drills for telling Audrey where to find a fire dummy? His grandfather gave him hints—not necessarily exact answers.
The latest promo shows the confrontation between Bode and Jack as they prepare to deal with an emergency situation where an elevator is trapped after a severe thermal overload shuts down the power.

This is a great hint at upcoming guest stars joining the Fire Nation. Jared Padalecki will have a three-episode storyline that could lead to a spinoff.
Although he’s a Southern California surfer boy from the Fire Nation, he played cowboy Texas Ranger Cordell Walker in the aptly named reboot of Chuck Norris’s “Walker, Texas Ranger.” for Walker.
Fire Nation Season 3 Episode 3 gives us a deeper look into Vince’s strained relationship with his father and sheds light on Vince’s behavior with Bode. The whole show is filled with fire station family drama.
Will we see more of Pop Leone now that Vince and Sharon have Smokey’s? He looks like an alcoholic.
At least Sharon is back at work. So where does that leave Luke?
The family drama this season isn’t just lion-centric, and I’m enjoying that dynamic. Manny’s relationship with Gabriella has been strained since he was sentenced to serve time in Three Rocks Prison.
In particular, he was firmly opposed to her having a relationship with Bode. However, it looks like she finally agrees with him.
We hope this means she’ll come around and forgive Manny for going back to jail. Despite Bode’s imprisonment, she quickly fell in love with him. Even when he was in jail, not in Sanyan, she stood by him.
Where is the loyalty to the idol?
It might be my old-school generation mentality, but I’m all for Manny’s reckless behavior, which resulted in him becoming the top inmate at Three Rocks while Bode was on the outside.
Hey, we need someone we love to be on the road to redemption; otherwise, we might have a hard time connecting with POW this season.
Eve takes charge of the place and finally finds her way. Having Manny as her right hand can lead her to tremendous career growth. She needs his insight to lead her crew with compassionate authority.
Fire Nation Season 3 Episode 3 also sets up a fascinating backstory for Eve. After six long years away, Eve can finally go home.
She and the jail’s inmate firefighters have been spreading goodwill around Edgewater, trying to build public relations and change perspectives.
Given that her family is already angry about her choosing firefighting over ranching, it will be interesting to see how they react now that she is a firefighter who manages a prison inmate camp and she wants to take the inmates to ranching for controlled burns .
