Flavor Flav is in Washington, D.C. this week, celebrating the holidays at the White House Holiday Party on Tuesday afternoon (December 17). The rapper appeared to be back at the Presidential Palace a day later, when he had the honor of playing piano at the historic residence.
“My mom was a classical concert pianist, and if she were still here, I know she would be proud that her son was invited to the White House, and then I was invited to play “House” at the White House. ,” the “Public Enemies” star wrote on Instagram, along with a clip of him playing a gorgeous melody on a giant brown grand piano. “I hope I made my family proud because I do feel proud of myself and very grateful for the opportunity.”

A day earlier, he also shared a photo smiling with President Joe Biden and first lady Jill Biden at a White House holiday event. “It was an honor to be invited by President Biden and Dr. Jill Biden to the White House Christmas Party. The hospitality from their staff was top-notch and I can’t wait to get going,” he wrote.
It’s no surprise that Flav was invited to the White House, as he has dedicated his entire career to doing good, especially in the last year. He contributed to Team USA during this summer’s Paris Olympics, pledging $1,000 and a trip to all members of the U.S. women’s water polo team and helping pay 24-year-old discus thrower Veronica Fraley Fraley’s rent. He also set up a GoFundMe page for Paralympic sprinter Nick Mayhew to help pay for his parents to fly to Paris to watch him compete.
