Clown: Folie à Deux It had a poor opening weekend at the box office, grossing just $40 million. Not a good thing for a movie with a $200 million budget. Meanwhile, the film’s Rotten Tomatoes score was not only panned by critics, but also plummeted among audiences.

When the film premiered at the Venice Film Festival last month, it reportedly received an 11-minute standing ovation and rave reviews.

Clown: Folie à Deux Its ratings have dropped dramatically as more verdicts have been tallied, currently sitting at a 39% review rating and 37% audience rating. For context, Joker has a critic score of 68% and a fan score of 89%.

On top of that, the film received an abysmal D rating from CinemaScore, the worst rating for a comic book movie in CinemaScore history. it is located below Mobius (C+), batman and robin (C+) vs. 2015 Fantastic Four (C-). even mrs webb Got a C+.

Warner Bros. is confident in the movie after the first one grossed over a billion dollars, but if there were smart executives, they would have seen the writing on the wall that the lightning wouldn’t go away.

I’m surprised that they even moved forward with a sequel after director Todd Phillips promoted the film. The Joker musical is simply not for people.

Phillips recently spoke about the film and distanced himself from DC Studios, saying, “With all due respect, [DC Studios]which is a Warner Bros. movie. They also want to be like, ‘Okay, Todd did his thing, let Todd continue to do his thing.

Things didn’t go so well for him the second time around. However, this does do something different and unique. They thought outside the box on this issue. It just doesn’t work.

In the film, Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix) was sent to Arkham Asylum to await trial for playing the Joker. While grappling with his dual identity, Arthur not only stumbles upon true love, but also discovers the music that has always existed within him.

Arthur develops a strong relationship with Quinn (Lady Gaga) together they embark on a journey filled with violence and music, since the film is a musical.

The film is directed by Todd Phillips And it also has stars Catherine Keener, Jacob Lovelandand Brendan Gleeson who will play an undisclosed role.
