According to a blog post published on Tuesday (December 10), Fortnite Since the game’s launch in December, players have smashed more than a trillion gems across tracks from 236 artists and played 3.6 billion jam loops. To commemorate the occasion, the game will host an “All Access Weekend” event from Thursday (December 12) at 7pm ET through Sunday (December 15), allowing players to play alone or with Play famous songs with friends using virtual instruments. During this time, all 285 Jam tracks available in the store will be added to the featured rotating playlist for free playback on the Main Stage and Battle Stage.
The game has also released new Platinum Icon bundles for its four Festival Icons: The Weeknd, Lady Gaga, Billie Eilish and Karol G. Jam Tracks (“Dancing in the Flames”), Gaga (“Sickness”) and Eilish (“Birds of a Feather”) are also included. Additionally, the new Metallica Jam Bundle includes four of Metallica’s signature songs (“One”, ” Sad But True,” “Battery” and “For Whom the Bell Tolls”) are available in stores now. All five bundles will be available through December 19th.
Also announced on Tuesday is a feature that will allow users to jam with up to three friends in a lobby using any Jam Track they own, which according to the blog post “is available in all Fortnite except the Fall Guys experience.” hall”.
