Max releases the first full trailer for Max’s hospital-set medical drama series Pete. series star Noah Wyle and from yes and west wing executive producer John Wells.
Pete Described as “a realistic look at the challenges facing America’s health care workers today through the lens of frontline heroes working in a modern hospital in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.”
The series will consist of 15 episodes, taking place during a 15-hour emergency room shift, with each one-hour episode representing real time, just like the “24” series.
R. Scott Gemmell will serve as showrunner for the show John Wells Executive production. The series reunites Wyle, Gemmell and Welles, as the trio have previously collaborated yes.
“We are grateful to Warner Bros. Television and Max for the opportunity to return to the world of urban medicine,” Wyle, Welles and Gimmel said in a joint statement.
“In the fifteen years since we last visited their story, the myriad challenges faced by doctors, nurses, technicians, patients and their families working in the trenches of modern medicine have become even more apparent.
“We are excited to return to this world with the support of our partners and look forward to pushing the boundaries of dramatic realism and medical accuracy as we follow the lives of these heroic men and women.”
The show will premiere on Max in January 2025.
