Apple TV+ releases a scary and fun new trailer for DreamWorks Animation’s horror adventure animated series curse! The story revolves around a cursed family who embark on a journey to break the curse. I love these kinds of stories, so I was kind of looking forward to watching this one.
The show tells the story of Pandora, Russ and Sky Vanderhouven, “a family cursed by their ancestors who looted ancient artifacts from around the world, including father Alex. (Alex) turned to stone.
“After reversing the curse in an adventure of a lifetime, Season 2 begins with Alex rejoining the family as they continue their efforts to undo the damage caused by their greedy ancestors.
“But when something about Alex doesn’t seem quite right, the family must come together to solve the mysteries they face on the road and within the walls of Thornstone Manor.”
The new animated series also boasts an impressive voice cast, including Gabriel Neva (monster high school) as “Pandora”, Andre Robinson (loud house) as “ras”, lyrical louis (Waffles + Mochi) as “sky”, Reed Scott (vice president) as “Alex”, Rhys Darby (Our flag means death) as “Stanley”, James Masters (buffy the vampire slayer) as “Larry”, Rhea Perlman (cheers) as “Maggie”, Phylicia Rashad (Raisins in the sun) as “Georgia Snitker”, and Robert Englund (A Nightmare on Elm Street) as “Cornelius”.
curse! is created and executive produced by Jim Cooper (dragon) and Jeff Dixon (hurricane robbery). John Krasinski (A Quiet Place Part 1 and 2) also serves as executive producer. The producer also joined him Alison Seager (Tom Clancy’s Jack Ryan), Leo Riley (Guardians of the Galaxy, TRON: Uprising)etc.
The 10-episode series will premiere on October 27, just before Halloween.
