Nick Frost has written a new horror comedy, which he also stars in, called get awayand released the first trailer! This movie looks like a lot of fun!
In the film, a family’s vacation at a remote resort takes an unexpected turn when they discover that the island is inhabited by what appears to be a murderous cult.
The plot synopsis reads: “The Smiths are looking forward to vacationing on the Swedish island of Svarta, but they are uneasy with unfriendly mainlanders who advise them to avoid the island at all costs, especially during the Carantan festival. But The family of four desperately needed some time away and stubbornly decided to take the ferry anyway.
“The locals on the island are quite rude and unenthusiastic, and their behavior suggests something big is about to happen. Is this a cult? Are there sacrifices at work?
“The family doesn’t seem to be bothered by so much rudeness and drama, and they enjoy swimming in the ocean, hiking in the woods, and, oh, silent isolation… It’s a pretty perfect situation for the Smith family. , they have special plans of their own.
The film is directed by Stephen Haas It’s filled with dark humor, mean jokes, and outrageous scenes. It’s explained that the film “will keep misleading you, leading to an unexpected, twisty ending.”

The film recently premiered at Fantastic Fest and will be released on December 6th.
