wild robot is a beautifully crafted animated film that totally blew me away. This is hands down the best animated movie I’ve seen this year. I even think it’s better than Pixar’s Inside Out 2, which I loved.
Not only does this film offer stunning visual art, it also tells an original and powerful emotional story that tugged at the heartstrings in ways I never expected. There are several moments throughout the film that brought me and other viewers to tears.
The story follows ROZZUM unit robot Roz who finds himself stranded on an uninhabited island and must learn to survive. The beauty of the story is how Robot Rhodes slowly develops a relationship with the island’s animals, even becoming a foster parent to an orphaned gosling.
It’s a wonderful journey of self-discovery that highlights the delicate balance between technology and nature, making you think about deeper questions about life, connection, and what it means to truly be alive.
The writing in this movie is excellent, but what really takes it to another level is the stunning animation and art style.
Director Chris Sanders has brought us other films such as How to train your dragon, krudd familyand Lilo & Stitchreally outdid themselves here.

The filmmaker previously explained that he was inspired by stories like this Bambi and talked about how he wanted to capture the look of illustrative backgrounds and character designs that had been lost to computer graphics. He succeeds in achieving that in this film.
The dubbing cast is another highlight of the film. Lupita NyonRhodes’ voice is warm and gentle, humanizing the character.
Pedro Pascal As Fox Fink, Catherine O’Hara as Pinktail the Possum, and Bill Nye Both Goose give outstanding performances, bringing their characters to life in fantastic ways. Kit ConnorThe depiction of Brightbill the Gosling is adorable.
What touches me most is wild robot How inspiring. When I walked out of the theater I felt uplifted and happy. This is a movie that makes you want to share it with everyone.
This is one of those movies that I have to start getting people out to see. I love sharing great movies with family and friends and this is one worth going to the theater to watch!
