Legendary Pictures wins bidding war homewreckerThis sci-fi erotic thriller stars and is produced by Glen Powell.
The box set includes an unpublished three-chapter story written by Neil M. Paik, who will also pen the screenplay.
The deal marks the last major acquisition of the year and comes just a day or two before Hollywood closes for the holidays. It’s so cool, right in Santa’s workshop. The deal is a Christmas present for Powell, who caps off a stellar year by reaffirming his newfound star power. Almost exactly a year ago he became a rising star anyone but youa comedy in which he collaborated with Sidney Sweeney. The movie was released on December 22, 2023 and became a box office sensation. He then filmed the romantic comedy thriller killerwhich he also co-wrote and produced; the film just earned him his first Golden Globe nomination.
