Green Day is re-releasing american idiot Celebrating the 20th anniversary of the album this fall. The digital deluxe edition will be available on October 25 and includes unreleased demos, B-sides, live versions and bonus songs. The 8xLP box set also includes a new documentary about the album, American Idiot 20 Yearsalong with the 2015 documentary Heart like a grenade. american idiot is Green Day’s seventh album, and the trio won their first No. 1 album and a Grammy Award for Best Rock Album at the 2005 ceremony. The band previously re-released their 1994 album, Dukeyand in 1997 Nimrod. Green Day’s latest album is this year’s Savior.
