What do you get when Guy Ritchie, Tom Hardy, Pierce Brosnan and Helen Mirren combine?
The answer: Paramount+ Showtime’s upcoming series will have us looking forward to every episode.
The untitled Guy Ritchie Project (currently titled “The New Guy Ritchie Project” in the press release below) is a global organized crime series centered around two warring families and the men responsible for protecting them at all costs The loyal mediator unfolds.
With Richie at the helm and Hardy, Brosnan and Mirren in the lead, how could this possibly go wrong?
Here’s what we know so far.

This is great news for those of us who watched Kin when it aired in the US and have been desperately waiting for news about a second season and beyond.
While we don’t know if this is a present-day endeavor or comes from the long history of Ireland’s warring crime families (sorry, Ireland, but we love you!), we have high hopes for the project.
One of my favorite series is Love/Hate Ireland. There are a lot of great storylines to be mined here, and Richie is the perfect person to mine them.
The series stars Keith Cox, Nina Diaz, David C. Glasser, Guy Ritchie, Jez Butterworth, Ronan Bennett, Christy Gere, Ivan Atkinson, Tom Hardy, Dean Baker, Ron Burke, David Hartkin and Bob Yari serve as executive producers.
For those of you who are still confused about the brand, we are still confused too.
We’re pretty sure this will air on Showtime cable as well as Paramount+ and show time. In other words, if you have Paramount+ but don’t add Showtime, you’ll have to watch it on cable. If the situation changes, we will let you know!
