Emmy Award Winner Hannah Waddingham (tedso), Emmy Award winner Guy Pierce (fauvism), and gentlemen Star Daniel Ings Confirmed to Star in Crime Thriller Mr. SunnyBankside launched ahead of the American Film Market.
“The film will tell the story of Leonard Moore, once a chart-topping pop star and now a lounge singer in a mid-budget hotel in the Canary Islands. One night he meets Shirley, another A lost soul, he felt an instant connection with her.
“But Shirley’s husband is a dangerous man, and soon the new couple’s burgeoning romance descends into a spiral of paranoia, suspense and violence.”
Matt Chambers Directed from his own script, filming will begin next year in Gran Canaria. This will be the second feature film following the critically acclaimed Chambers bicycle thief The film was nominated for a British Independent Film Award.
Chambers said of the project: “Being able to shoot this film on such a beautiful island, alongside some of the most talented people I know, friends old and new, and legends established and emerging, I’m so excited. Very lucky. Putting the amazing Guy and Hannah together, it’s clear we’re onto something exciting.
