Netflix releases trailer for Indonesian action thriller shadow lostthe film will feature some hardcore brutal and bloody action.
This movie comes from the writer and director Timo Jayanto. In Codename 13, a 17-year-old assassin is determined to save a child from a criminal syndicate, even if it means going against her own mentor and the organization that hired her.
The plot synopsis is as follows: “A teenage assassin codenamed 13 leaves behind her past and is trained in the deadly art of killing to work diligently for a secretive organization of assassins known as the Shadows.
“After the mission in Japan failed, her mentor Umbra (Hana is lazy), took over the mistake, but deported her to Indonesia to face disciplinary action.
“While laying low in the slums of Jakarta, a chance encounter with a young boy who has run afoul of a local criminal gang soon brings the restless and rebellious into an unsanctioned cross. The military’s Eastern Expedition triggered a series of bloody battles, casting a shadow over the town.
The description reads: “Since The night comes for us Timo Tjahjanto, Indonesia’s preeminent architect of extreme violence, carried out such meticulous martial arts massacres.
“Opening with a gorgeous scene in which dozens of gangsters are wiped out, his latest is a categorization of the action genre, featuring a series of sword fights, shooting and good old-fashioned fist fights…”
Aurora Ribero stars in the film and it looks like she’s going to deliver some great fight scenes.
Netflix will launch shadow of the wanderer October 17, 2024.
