creator of hellboy Mike Mignola Recently announced new upcoming movies Hellboy: Crooked Manthis is a plan that he participated in throughout.

he and Christopher Goldenhe enjoyed participating in this project very much. He hasn’t been as deeply involved in his previous film projects as this one.

In an interview with GamesRadar+, Mignola explained: “I’m often late on projects when someone else has put the pieces together in a way that doesn’t quite fit.

“This time, I have the opportunity to say, ‘We’re going to crooked personwe’ll stick to this story. We need to add some backstory. So we borrowed another story so we didn’t have to make up something new.

He continued: “We basically just put two different Hellboy stories together. Just a little bit of that, and then tried to stick with Bend as much as we could, because not only is it my favorite story, but it’s Contains most of the content.

Mignola went on to talk about the previous Hellboy films, admitting that he has mixed feelings about them: “Each one was a very different experience.

“But as someone who has mixed feelings about early movies, one of the lessons I learned is that if I can get in from the beginning, at some point you know you’re going to lose – I mean you can never control it, But that’s what happens when you feel like you have control at the beginning and then you hope someone doesn’t tear down what you built.

crooked person directed by crank Helmer Brian TaylorMignola talked about working with him on the film, saying, “When we first talked, Brian said, ‘Let’s get back to the way real stories are written.'” So you think when When that happens, you’re probably in good company.

Mignola went on to say that he was very happy with how the new movie turned out: “Yeah, more happy than any other movie, and I know in other movies there were moments where I was like, ‘Oh, that’s cool. That’s a comic. But this thing is so comical.

“It was the only movie where I wasn’t on the set at all, but it was the only movie where I actually watched dailies every day, so it was shot about a day later.

“Almost every day I’m surprised, ‘Oh my gosh, it looks like this, this looks like this. Oh my gosh, they shot it from the same angle. It’s amazing to see your work come to life. things.

Of all the Hellboy movies that have been made, Mignola clearly believes that: crooked person is the best.

In the story, adapted from the comic of the same name, Hellboy teams up with a new BPRD agent named Tom Ferrell and finds himself trapped in rural Appalachia in the 1950s.

“There, they discover a small community haunted by witches, led by a local demon with disturbing ties to Hellboy’s past: the Crooked Man.” A welcome issue to expand the world of Hellboy.”

I’m so excited to see how this movie turns out!
