We started getting some answers on the way to Episode 8 of HOPOR Season 3 and it felt pretty good.
The show gives us a lot of discussion and connects the entire community about this Hallmark series, and I can’t think of anything better than that.
Here’s where we start here: I don’t want to leave because Nick becomes a beautiful ball of joy, people who bounce between lovely people are more frustrated than they should be.
Indeed, for all the love these people share, they should stop and think about the luck they have experienced.
Nick will certainly not be lost. Who else was surprised to find that he was simply too big to ignore because his obsession with the pond became too big?
If any friend should be on the show, it’s Nick. His life was influenced by the way other people experienced it, even Elliot. But, because Elliot knows about time travel, he feels different, is it fun?
But back to Nick. In a season where friendship is in the unexpected back seat of the moment (a scene with Rita. Have we ever seen Monica?), he incorporates the discussion of the discussion into the time travel pond’s pleasing and revealing.
Nick: Is everyone traveling here?
Eliot: Nick, please.
Nick: Well, it looks like it. Everyone except us. [Elliot glares at him] Wait, are you too?
Nick even paved the way for Del to understand her frustration with Colton’s secret preservation, whether she realized it or not. And since it’s Del, who’s going to be blunt, she missed it.
Del spent a large portion of his frustration and Colton was happy to travel without telling her. She was hurt, especially since she recalled the flat-out of asking Colton (although kidding) about the family trip after chatting with Grandma Fern.
Maybe it was a joke, but it was a good time for Colton to be open to her reality, especially because we know he met time travel when he met Del in the summer.
On the way to Home Season 3 Episode 3, Colton is strangely worried about the farm as he comes out of the pond. I think it’s another reason why he was surprised to see Alice and couldn’t think of her being in the pond. But now we know that he has just returned from 1816.
But was that his first trip? No, no. He once came back to tell Jacob and Elijah to grow rye and potatoes.
That’s why he was so upset, thinking he was the reason for the incident in 1816 when Cyrus roared like a madman, telling the people of Haven Harbor that Elijah and Jacob sold their souls to Devil.
Of course, he didn’t know that Kate had done a little harm in that department at the beginning of the dark summer when she declared herself a witch. Those terrible Landries!
Colton tried to save Nick (the 1974 version, not 1999 and 2025 Nick. Can’t they choose other names?), however, he went back to 1816 because the pond needed him to save Jacob.
For the moment, Nick tells Del that he will never reveal the secrets of the pond to Claire because as a nonsense lady like Del, she would think he was crazy. Nonsense is also an ideal way to describe DEL.
Given Jacob’s disappearance, the huge events of Colton and Del’s tragedy made the situation worse. How did Del react to Jacob’s disappearance for most of season 1 of Return Home.
But, again, his question is, distrust Del to accept the truth. And if she doesn’t accept the truth about his family and their abilities, is their love as strong as they think?
Many of us have been wondering whether Elliot really loves Kat because he often manipulates her with crying stories or distrust. When she finally admits kissing Thomas, he does so again in “Smoking on Water.”
He doesn’t appreciate her stop hiding it anymore, but says she says it’s a reward for what happened to Emma. I want to choke him. This man didn’t know what he wanted.
Then there is Thomas, who doesn’t care how or when Kat comes to him, just that she does. She is loving another one? Cool. I will wait. She wondered why he didn’t wait, and he laughed, but welcomed her anyway.
Thomas never made Kat or her choices appear small or trivial. By contrast, Elliot almost always questioned Kate’s choice and motivation. Which of these actions seems more like true love?
I also can’t tell if the writers are trying to say to us that Elliot and Kate have major issues in the following exchanges, or whether they are trying to convince themselves and the characters.
Kate: Something breaks here, I don’t know how to fix it. I hope we don’t have to do this work so hard.
Eliot: Well, maybe that’s our answer.
Yes, that yes Answer. This relationship is in the honeymoon stage and they already need consultation. NewsFlash: This means there is a serious problem – it may not make sense to solve the problem.
Another thing about Colton’s trip in 1974 was that he met Alice in 1999. I no longer doubt this. But this is one thing that can cause great pain to DEL.
Colton was an active time traveler when she met Alice in 1974, singing a demonstration, which was one of the key moments of his life. That’s not the moment you forget.
Colton knew what he was doing when he taught her in 1999. He welcomed Alice into his home because he knew her. He may not know who she is yet, but he may say Landris is back in Landris.
His “My Catherine” died, was he dying because he realized Alice was her daughter? He might have seen the painting at some point, and suddenly, as his life flashed before his eyes, he put it all together.
People who have seen shows more than I may remember whether Alice had called her mom, Kate or Katherine, when she was talking about her. It seems unlikely since she was with Kate, but it is possible.
As Del spits in anger in the pond, “You don’t stop until you take everyone I love,” I tried to understand how she felt, even if she didn’t know herself.
How could she? These revelation matches are too fast and angry to grasp.
But I smiled when she wondered if Colton knew that Jacob might have passed through the pond. She said that when Jacob could still be there, she was making her sick.
She told Kat that you don’t have to keep the secrets of the person you really like – and she actively keeps letters from the person she really likes. People usually cannot see their behavior as they do.
When Alice asks her why Colton might keep everyone’s secret, Del says he might feel trapped, but is he trapped by something? Have you been trapped by her? Surely not.
Elliot’s strange remarks about Del about the truth are also a catch. “Maybe the facts are overrated, especially when unloading it onto someone you love means you have to take the burden,” Elliott said.
When she asked him, he said he kept secrets about Alice and the pond for decades. Everyone has reasons to cover up the truth.
Although we want to believe that being a time traveler is a burden, we also see beautiful things.
Kat rescues Colton and Evie from drowning, Colton saves Jacob from the fire, Kat saves Susanna Free from hanging the witch. Alice brings light to everyone she meets, urging them to be themselves and embrace life.
Only Elliot and Del view the pond as a burden. It made me very similar when two sad sacks talked on the truck.
For some reason, family creators find secret relationships and people are afraid to share their true selves with the people they like.
At the same time, however, they gave us Thomas and brought him to the surface to love Kate’s potential (if impossible).
If you giggle at the impossible of this love, remember this, while to make us human, the way you go home is also a fantasy. And if we can see people running over time, romance for a period isn’t so incredible.
In a surprising event, Del talks about Colton’s phantom of silence, revealing her confidence in the girls to find the answers they need to get the family to get the question. They couldn’t do it without the pond she hated, so her emotional waves took her to a new place.
Some extra things to think about:
- Evie Wreck Colton, after hearing that he had proposed to Del and hoped that his music would bring him back to her, would he have a chance to join a music career?
- Cyrus tried to burn the painting and said he saw his wife’s love for him while she was with Kat.
- Alice and Max took another step forward in the potential future when she found him in Noah’s van.
But what is next? Unlike you, I haven’t seen a preview of Hope Season 3 Episode 9. How far is the story they tell this season?
