All week I’ve been thinking about myself: Why can Outlander have Claire and Jamie, but can’t we have Kat and Thomas?
Alas, it doesn’t matter. At least not now.
However, since Alice was still in an unfinished business in 1999, it proved that none of the story was done and I wouldn’t write off Thomas until after it was over. I can’t. I’m so stubborn.
But overall, the way home season 3 episode 9 is exactly the most for home fans, especially those who want Kat and Elliot to share the future.
There are many answers to the question for a long time, and even if Thomas does leave, his influence on Kate is eternal. You really can’t ask for more from the penultimate episode.
The episode begins with Kat and Jacob sitting in front of the sultry ruins of Elijah’s house. Neither of them could stay, and Jacob left with Kat and Thomas as catalysts for the unfinished business.
He is really more interested in revenge against Cyrus. And, if he couldn’t get it in 1914, he would have had contact with Lewis Goodwin in 2025.
If anyone needs treatment, it is Jacob Landry. Until the last moment, he didn’t want to hear anyone outside his mind.
The fire gave birth to his plan – by ensuring that Lewis’s never-successful vineyard success, he would take revenge on Cyrus.
From what we think of Lewis so far, he is really happy to share this experience with Jacob, bridging the gap between two founding families that have long been in conflict.
If Jacob received help after returning (even with his family), he might be able to start this new chapter with his right foot. Unfortunately, Del was also in trouble in the past and could not move forward.
Ironically, Del lost her parents just as Kat and Alice had lost her parents. Thankfully, she finally realized that she could get answers from Alice’s trip. She really didn’t, but Alice’s experience reminded her of her simultaneous memories.
When Alice sees Colton propose to Delhira, Del still knows Colton rejects his knowledge of time travel.
At that time, seeing Delilah was what Colton needed. My guess is that he never considered entering that pond again before Jacob went missing. He didn’t share it with DEL because she was what he needed. He doesn’t need fame or wealth – just his Delilah.
Alice wonders what prompted her to return to the port, but Del is not ready to share.
Instead, she revisits Colton’s proposed memory and tells him why she’s back.
When she initially left the port, she hoped her parents would be warmly welcomed when they returned home on their birthday, but they were silent. They lost everything. Their daughter’s reward is useless because money is their identity, and without money, they change.
They no longer see her. It seems she doesn’t exist. They were very confused about what they lost, but because of everything they cared about, they also lost her. They even sold her horse before saying goodbye.
All I could think of was the prompting cat and the cradle, because from a generational perspective, Landris kept showing the same mistakes as the ones ahead.
Del closed after losing Jacob, which pushed Kate away. Kat said the same thing to her mother in 1999 – after Jacob disappeared, she felt that she seemed invisible.
Colton felt a similar feeling. If he was exploring Jacob’s pond, he wouldn’t have told her because she no longer accepted her family.
But now, it seems Del understands. She is quitting the past and entering the present. Instead of letting her head firmly tuck her through, she finally opened her eyes. That might be the reason for saving Jacob.
However, the camera rolled in the vineyard, so she and Jacob were recorded in the vineyard. At least Lewis will see it, and even if it wasn’t for Max and Danny, they could be hurt by Jacob’s actions. I was shocked that Jacob was so far in the rabbit’s hole that he would use Danny’s secure access to commit crime.
Del told him to drive in the truck. Did she say he could get it or would she drive home? Eventually, that scene gives Andie McDowell a scene where she really bites.
Unless we return to Port Port next season, unless we revisit her last time, we also see Evie’s last one.
Alice’s friendship saved her. Alice urges Evie to travel because she always wanted to go rather than stay in the port and suffer.
Evie felt it was her fight against the world, and although it was unexpected, her trip changed when she met her husband and eventually welcomed her grandson, Max, into her life. We don’t know if Lewis and Evie are close, but Max and Evie are.
Alice falls in love with Max, which makes perfect sense, Max shows many people of the same qualities. Everyone doesn’t like cynical people, but they can be likable (so I’ve heard of…).
I’m worried about how the content on the Vineyard security cameras will affect them, but if KC is a generation or two ahead of us and tied with Alice and Max, they’ll be fine.
As life progresses in 2025, Kate stays behind to help Cyrus rebuild and say goodbye to Thomas. Damn it!
Damn, Damn, Damn!
Yes, I know many of you know when cussing, but I’m not one of them, and now my favorite romance on TV disbands, I give myself a free pass to express my frustration.
Since the way home has decided to make Kat and Elliot a romantic aged, we all know this will come. And, if we have to say goodbye, knowing that Kate learned from Thomas the love she deserves makes it worth it.
Thanks to Thomas, she knew the love she wanted. She wants unwavering support and passion and is challenged by someone who loves her. Thomas is not a season. He is the reason.
Kat helps Thomas grow up and puts stupid antics behind him. He plans to go to New York and we know he ends up with a family.
Nevertheless, their relationship is what we deserve. We should see the relationship with all these characteristics, and three I can point out are not issues during this time. Kat and Thomas, Jamie and Claire, as well as Spencer and Alexandra in 1923.
For us, what are the three best love stories on TV for at least a century? I’m not sure, but I have to say something.
Elliot accelerated the man who asked Jacob to take him back to 1816. Have you noticed Jacob brought him back there like a shuttle bus and went back to the vineyard to shoot immediately?
Kat calls him my Elliot, just like the Thomas Thomas she used to call me. She closed the door on Thomas and opened the door of the future with Elliot. Elliot and Thomas even nodded through the torch throughout the property. That creepy thing made me feel a little uncomfortable, but they both probably needed it.
One of the best developments is Susanna’s responsibility for Port Haven when she couldn’t speak after the fire. He does love her or he will move to heaven and earth to prevent her from becoming a hero in the port.
She deleted the chapters about CRYUS to repay his support. Without Cyrus, she wouldn’t be in that position. Now, their marriage seems to be the price to pay for the huge things that have been done to help the port port.
And there is another real miracle – Elliot smiled! ! ! Dear Lord, if he could do this more often, I might be able to join the love story of Kalliot.
From a historical perspective, Elliot realized his dream and meeting Susanna means everything. Evan Williams is a very attractive person. Hopefully this is the turning point where his frown is permanently reversed.
So, what do we expect from the ending?
The words on the street are everyone sobbing while reading the script. I think Colton will see Colton somewhere, but when?
Sam and Casey (should we say KC now?) may explore the Big Cliff’s people further.
In 1999 something had to happen with Alice or they wouldn’t make such a big difference to her trip again.
Finally, it’s a big deal, has Elliot found the secret of time travel? Will missing works be just a century old mistake? Is this the meaning of the clock? How will fix it change the way you go home?
Will repairing the clock reset the pond? Will it allow for forward and backward travel? Or is it repaired intact to the final time travel, which makes using the pond even more crucial is setting the right thing for the port port?
Essentially, the way home season 3 ends, even without a renewal, we are about to start a whole new chapter in the finale, just like in the past two finals.
