Anna Kendrick looks back this week and celebrates her 2009 up in the air Co-starring, George Clooney.
“George, he’s kind of like a capital G, he works really hard to make you forget about that and feel comfortable,” pitch perfect The star spoke about her experience working with Clooney. “The first scene he shot with me was my first scene in the movie,” Kendrick said. “We’re standing on the People Mover, we’re waiting, and the camera is very far away, and he says, ‘Oh my gosh, are you nervous on your first day? I am. Are you insecure? I really am not. Security. I was like, ‘Yeah, I do, George, I do. I’m totally insecure.’ He’s doing all this for, ‘Yeah, I’m worried about them. Are the right people hired?
Kendrick’s anecdote continued: “Over the years, this memory popped into my head and I thought, ‘No, he doesn’t. No, he doesn’t get nervous or insecure or There’s this worry that they hired the wrong person, and maybe that’s something he dealt with early in his career, but it’s been such a gift for him because it’s like, ‘Oh, okay, I can take my anxiety. It was really, really relaxing for me to be brought into the moment and have someone make space for that.
